Chapter 21:
I brushed my hand over my face while he spoke and I bit my finger at the prospect of Oogie finding her way here. I heard a thump on the door. I brushed my forehead and Dexter exhaled.

"You will be assisting me with the car tomorrow and mind you, you better be handing in the right tools else I'd be very disappointed. Understand? Are we clear?"

"Yes." I said with a squeaky voice and I had to clear up the table and pick up Lois's storybooks and toys. Beck stuck out his tongue at me.

"You look like shit." He said and I heaved a sigh, and Seymour cried clawing at my foot.

"Ow." I replaced her toys and tucked her in. Then I headed to the bathroom and soaked in warm water. I stretched my knee and groaned at the pain. I fumed at the thump on the door.

"Zack...hurry up!"
