Chapter 69

She rushed to see Conrad who was sprawled on the floor in the ditch. "Conrad! Why did you leave him here?" She said to him with teary eyes.

Zack was confused. "Conrad." He jumped in.

They rented an apartment and Zack placed a towel to his head.

Guard Dog's battery read 19%, he scanned Conrad and projected his X-ray to Zack on his visors in the dark.

"He hasn't any broken limbs so he must have dropped and fainted. I shouldn't have left the car window open at night."

She softened. Gazing at her nails.

"The cold must have triggered his sickness."

He nudged Zack to pay attention.

Then he glitched. HE HAS SAD

Zack saw it. Maybe he had a glitch again. Perhaps it was a funny language for him. Was he sad or was Conrad sad? He glanced at him sleeping.

Guard Dog detected that Zack's serotonin, testosterone, and dopamine levels (which were happy hormones ) were dropping.
