The burly goblin was furious when he heard Erix's remark.

Without wasting time, he charged in.

Erix remained calm and cool-headed.

An invisible grin played on his face when he saw the burly goblin storming angrily toward him.

'This idiot won't listen. He's made his choice anyway,' Erix thought to himself, shaking his head in pity.

As soon as the goblin got close enough, he struck Erix with a heavy blow to the face.

But before the punch could reach Erix's face, Erix vanished. The latter used his boots to propel himself behind the goblin.

The goblin was surprised when he hit nothing but air. He was confused as to what was going on. One moment Erix was standing in front of him, and the next moment he was gone.

Before he could realize what had just happened, it was already too late.

A blow landed on his spinal cord, hurling him several feet away from where he had just been standing.
