As the dragon kept on raining fire on the people of Diadoma the ones that were yet to be greeted by the fire from the ancient creature readied their archers and under the command of one their army commanders began to fire up arrows. When it was clear the dragon was immune to arrows the giants of Diadoma were released. They were humans but were giants who could throw heavy rocks far into the sky, far enough to disappear into the clouds. When they stepped out they were armed with heavy rocks. When Samata saw this she knew she needed to fly the dragon away. The giants didn't give that chance as they began to fly up the rocks against the beast. The dragon was enraged and he growled before turning towards the space where the giants were occupying and began to descend against them with fire fuming from his mouth. When the giants saw this they didn't budge but kept on flying up the rocks. Some of the rocks hit the beast but it kept coming down in full force. He descended heavily on the giant
While this conversation was ongoing between Samata and Cury Amanda and Kal had to find a way to escape from the cell. The both of the could be seen running through the forest. They could still hear the growling sound of the mighty dragon but they refused to look back as they continued with their escape. *****Aromo was back. Lume and the Prophetess were shocked to receive her back and they hugged her. It was as if they had seen a long lost sister of theirs. The Prophetess was most happy as she believed the god of the earth was doing a great job, bringing together those who would be strong enough to protect the baby Lume was carrying in her womb. "You came back" The Prophetess was happy."Why wouldn't i? I had been a secret follower of you right from moment you became the Prophetess of Dodo. I never allowed you see how much I respected you but I always had the desire to know what you were upto and the more that I did the more I realised that it was never as easy for me as I intended.
When Samata went back to the land of Akozo she sat on her throne and there was tears in her eyes. Her generals didn't need to ask what the problem was. There was a rumour already that the maid Amanda whom she had hoped on to bring forth the seed Akiza her demised son planted in her was gone and she ran taking with her that which was used to tie her down. One of her generals Dinka was the one that summoned the courage and walked up to her where she was seated."My Queen, the rest says, "we can't go to the Queen now because the Queen is angry and bitter and the Queen can kill whoever disturbs her peace. I am not afraid to die" when he said this Samata looked up at his face and waited. The young general continued. "My father served your late husband, Akiza's father for years and your husband respected him not because he held so much power in Akozo but because he always had the courage to ask him questions that were heavy to answer. I have not come here bearing fear but the audacity to as
Dinka continued to make love to Samata and each day Samata had an encounter with him she felt like a human the more. One night she went to his tent to pay him a visit at the camp where the army of Akozo were meeting and there she met him preparing something to eat. She smiled and volunteered to keep him company. When Dinka saw her approaching he was elated and he stood up at once. His companions who weren't expecting the Queen in the camp soon alerted the generals and they soon has wanted to give her a befitting welcome but she waved it all aside and went straight to the tent of the one she has come to see. Her visiting really set shivers down the spine of Dinka who felt the Queen took their love affair to the next level by not minding what the soldiers in the camp would say if they saw her entering his tent without her bodyguards. When he had welcomed her inside his tent he stood there looking at her as she removed her sweater and hung it. She then went close to the fire to keep hers
The Chief of the Diadoma tribe was not pleased with the fact that Diadoma had been reduced to a tribe filled with fear. The Diadomas who were feared in all the lands of the earth now fear the sisters of magic more than they fear anything. He had gone to show Cury where Lume and Kal were both kept but when Cury got there she could not see anyone. This had enraged her and she had hit the Chief to death. Having killed him this did not start a war between the Diadomas and the sisters of magic who felt they would loose if that becomes the case. Cury had stepped out after having killed the Chief and stood before the people of Diadoma. Raising the staff of the mother of magic she began to address the people."You all know I used to be here before I had to go. Now that I have come back it is a good thing the Diadomas are willing to be submissive. This time it is only better that you refuse to be led further by weaklings, those who are unable to make things right with you. What is it again tha
"My love" Dinka began, "Is there something I cannot do for you? The gods who made it possible have decided that these men in the army volunteer without having to be commanded to follow me to bring back your son's wife from the land of Diadoma. We are well prepared but before we go we have come that you may give us your blessings." Samata who could not hold back her tears stepped forward and in the presence of everyone gave Dinka a kiss on the lips."You have made me so proud today, leading out these men for me and attempting to go to war for my sake there is nothing I would ask for more than it. You have my blessings Dinka. I will be here praying for your safe return, my love and my hero" When she was done she stepped back and Dinka turned to face the crowd and when he drew his sword he began to raise it up in the air and to chant. the crowd then joined him and began to chant a solidarity song. When they were gone Samata retired to her chambers and retook her seat, sad.*****When Din
When the Prophetess left Lume to rest she walked up a hill and stood there, looking down the cliff. She shrugged. She was thinking deeply about Abi whom sh had met in Abo land. She wondered what he was thinking when he had to come to her in the manner that she did. She believed in his love for her and prayed that he found the peace before he joined his ancestors. She shook her head and shrugged again, with hands on her waist. This woman was so beautiful, more beautiful than before Lume has asked her once, "Your beauty scares me. You and I have passed through alot here in this forest. You and I under this scorching sun you should have gotten darker and uglier yet you are not instead you grow more beautiful and robust. Is the god of the earth also taking care of your life and your skin?""The skin is part of my life" The Prophetess had joked before she put in, "It is not always like that with everyone who is called to serve in the body of the gods. I am like this because my mother was
Aromo kept watching Lume as she continued to speak words of faith on and about her unborn child. This moved her but still didn't and wasn't enough reason why she would decide to take her eyes from her mission; from ensuring that everything about the sisterhood was protected and established. She wasn't ready to take her eyes off the system that had made her who she was; the sisterhood had saved her life many times and had stood by her countless times. She remembered what she discussed with that sister after they were done with the meeting at the land of Dodo concerning the death of the mother of magic. Even though the whole sisters are yet to accept Cury as their leader and some of them was not in good terms with another she wasn't ready to betray the sisters, not even the words from the god of the earth was she ready to remember and allow reshape her mindset. Lume noticed how she was staring into space and waved her hand. Aromo was startled back to her senses and she sighed and hissed
