40 Digging the past...

Ben laughed at once at the horrible face Eva made out of embarrassment.

"Feel free to use anything you want. Come, let me show you," as he guided her inside, giving her a tour.

Exhausted, Eva yawned, and Ben pointed to his bedroom, saying,

"That's my bedroom. You can rest there."

"Wait, don't you have a spare room?" Eva asked.

"No, there's only one room. Alright, I'll change the sheets for you," Ben responded, entering the bedroom.

Meanwhile, Eva settled on the living room sofa, feeling thirsty and searching for water. Observing her need, Ben quickly went to the kitchen and brought a glass of water for her.

"Thank you," she said gratefully.

"Okay, now you can rest. I'll take my leave," Ben declared, noticing her stomach grumbling.

Her face slightly reddening, Eva looked like a startled bunny trying to suppress her hunger. Ben noticed and inquired,

"So, you're hungry? The kitchen is over there. You can have anything you want."

Mumbling something, Eva replied in a soft voice,
