Chapter 73: Color-changing domain

"Come on, let me see the strength of the so-called Human king of the North," Elvis, with a daring tone in his voice, urged King Raymond to demonstrate the might of his title as the Human king.

He gazed upwards and summoned a scorching fireball, unleashing it towards King Raymond with a fierce intensity.

Undaunted, King Raymond stood calmly with his eyes closed. With a swift motion, he produced a mirror shield and held it in front of him.

A blue sphere then enveloped him, and when the fireball approached, it stopped and vanished inside the shield.

Elvis was confounded. "Did the fireball just stop?" he asked, bewildered.

Without warning, King Raymond increased the range of the blue sphere, trapping Elvis within it. Elvis tried to fly out, but he found himself immobilized.

As King Raymond picked up his enormous sword and advanced on Elvis, the latter realized he was in perilous danger. He attempted to dodge the attack, but the sword struck him, glancing off his diamond-hard scales.
