Persuade the President

The meeting between Mr. Perry, Damian, and Mr. Jonan lasted until late afternoon. They had come up with a plan to assassinate the president on the country's birthday. Before Mr. Perry and Damian returned, William Smith left the building first so that he wouldn't be late entering the hotel. He didn't want Mr. Perry to be suspicious of him.

When Mr. Perry and Damian returned, William Smith was still in his room. Mr. Perry deliberately let William Smith stay in his room because he also wanted to rest. He took off his suit and hung it on the hanger, smoking his cigar vigorously.
