The Miniature Island

William stood on the deck of the yacht with sunglasses shielding his eyes from the scorching midday sun. He was holding on to the mast beside him with his eyes fixed on the island that was coming into view. He deliberately asked Hens to stop the yacht because he wanted to observe from afar.

"Are you sure it's the island?" asked William to Hens who was taking out his fishing gear as they were going to pretend to fish in the area to avoid suspicion.

Hens nodded. "I once accidentally saw a marine policeman coming out of that island. And there's often talk that the island is home to one of the mafia."

William was silent for a moment, staring into the distance where a small island that looked lush with trees. The sandy beach was only partially visible due to the dense forest there. He didn't know how a country could support an illegal act like human trafficking. However, William felt that it needed to be stopped.
