Chapter 4

It was then, that he was escorted to his dorm with the others. As for the higher-ranking students, they have their quarters with a courtyard outside.

Well, Arthas belonged to the lower class of students, and that was why he was put in a lower-class dorm with rundown rooms.

Also, the allowance and cultivation pills were lower as they were a lesser existence compared to the higher-ranking inner disciples.

He entered his room and then cleaned it up a bit. The webs were protruding on the ceiling and they felt a bit distracting in his eyes. Like a speck of dust that entered his eyes, it was irritating on his side.

The room was slightly spacious with a dresser of uniforms, a bed, a study table, a chair, also a bathroom on the side.

He then went to cultivating his potential. It was very important as your job class's growth relies on it. Also, the skills grow too along with it. And so he started his cultivation.

Being in lotus form, he inhaled air and circulated his mana inside his body. The earth realm inside his abdomen was being nourished by the mana and was slowly being formed into a smaller but denser realm.

The next stage will be the sky realm and breaking through was a hassle without pills that helped breakthrough.

It was then, that he needed to rely on alchemy for making the pills needed or potions. Also to have money with his brewed creations.

He then started his cultivation for several minutes and he was on the first stage of the earth realm. It had many stages from first to tenth then ascension to the next realm. As for his cultivation method, he used the best-suited cultivation for his predicament of having all classes.

All job classes' potential was being cultivated while the physique stats were also affected by it. It was called the "Versatile all-rounder cultivation method". There were also cultivation methods that were focused only on physique stats and others on cultivation potential. Others focus on job class.

They were fast in growth compared to the one Thurin was using but it was the best suited for him. It was a long-lost cultivation method that was discovered by Arthas in delving into guardian tombs in the past life.

They were hidden in Job-class guardian tombs in the past. It was also slow in its growth rate. And so, it was not used by other cultivators.

Also, the skill books of Guardians were inside their tombs, their artifacts too!

He needs to eradicate all the demons in his world. All will be different as he has all the job classes now.

From Paladin warrior, Magic swordsman, Lycanthrope, Druid Shaman, Forest Ranger, Rogue assassin, Death Knight, Barbarian, Versatile Mage, Dark Necromancer, Dragon Knight, Monk, Conjurer, Chaos Knight, to Holy Knight. All were his!

He cultivated for many hours and finally arrived at the bottleneck of the first stage. He needed to break through afterward. He stopped his cultivation for a while and then went outside in their courtyard.

There were many ways to cultivate but your foundation was important. And so, Arthas exercised in the early morning. One way to raise your physique stats was to train your martial arts. As such, he needs to know how to combat as well as train his body to execute it perfectly.

As an old soul, Arthas was a veteran or even a grandmaster when it comes to martial arts. Though his physique was weak and sluggish. A few swings of the sword were enough to make him pant.

And so his martial arts were trained slowly and only on the execution where his body can cope. From weapon martial arts to unarmed combat. He did a round of enhancing his body with mana that seeped through his muscles with mana.

There was a way to use mana to convert into stamina. It was called the "Mana conversion technique" and was very helpful in his training. He then used his mana to further increase his training duration.

He made a sword dance and also other weapons then rested after he felt drained. He gulped water and then wiped his sweat. He then remembered that there was a pill that helps with physique training. It hastens the growth of Stat of the body. Making yourself stronger.

It was called "Venerable ginseng pills". He will have to find something like it to further nourish his physique.

After sitting for a few moments, he scoured the kitchen and set up his alchemy table. With a glass test tube and other glass vials set up on the top of a candle. His room became a lab in a matter of several minutes.

His family was not there anymore and he was poor so he couldn't rely on pricey pills on the market. Also, the pills given to outer-class students were not enough for his current growth. He needed more! And so he needed to make his pills for himself.

It was then, that he went outside the campus and scoured the forest. He found cultivation herbs that can boost the cultivation speed of the person. It can be made into pills that can be eaten.

Soon after, he found blood herbs for health potions. It was sticking on a dead tree nearby. With energized water for the solution that was mixed with mana essence.

Next, he found another herb. It was called a Magic herb that gives mana and was also mixed with energized water for the solution. It was living amid bioluminescent mushrooms which emit mana and were absorbed by the herb.

It was then, that he found another herb which was called Energy herb. It was famous for melee combatants' job classes that liked to use stamina and as well as all who used to move much and were quick. Which was giving them stamina. It was nearby the rivers and was seen emitting a radiant glow.

He went home and then brewed the solutions into potions. He lit the candle and pound the herbs with a mortar and pestle then put mana on the water. Making energized water then was mixed with the herbs. He then boiled them on the vial then cooled it after.

He found several vials of empty potions and then poured them inside. Making one each from different potions. There were many kinds of potions but these three were the most abundant in the area he resides. Making it a hobby to make them was also not bad.

He then pounded the cultivation herbs and made its juice boil until sticky. It became clay-like and he made them into small balls. He made ten pieces of it that he will use in the future.

He then went to the market district and went to fetch the prices. He saw that the Health potion was 5 gold coins, the Mana potion was 7 gold coins, and the Stamina potion was 3 gold coins. And so he sold it to a vendor nearby.

"Thanks! It was pleasurable for having business with you," the vendor said and then coughed a bit.

"The pleasure is mine," Arthas then bowed then smiled at him

A total of 15 gold coins were reaped for his work. It was equivalent to a total of 1,500 silver coins in total. It was then, that he saw a blacksmithing tent and he entered.

"Good morning sir! How can I help?" asked the vendor who was wiping his eyeglasses.

"I would want to apply for a blacksmith assistant! If needed," Arthas smiled then waited for an answer.

"Of course! Alas, one came!" the blacksmith said as he entered the room. Still on his apron and was sweaty.

"It would be my pleasure to work with you," Arthas said as he bowed. Excited to work as he was immediately hired.

"I am Burnard. The Blacksmith here. Nice to meet you! I have many custom-made orders and so I will have to hurry. Okay! Let us start!"

They soon started with the first custom-made order. It was a two-handed great sword that they needed to finish before the break of dawn. Arthas put more charcoal on the burning embers and fanned it to heighten the temperature. They then smelted steel ingots and when it was melted, they poured them into the clay that had the form of the sword. They closed the clay and made a hole for the melted steel to go inside.

They then poured the melted steel and then waited to cool it down. Making a great sword that was yet dull. They soon tempered the steel and hammered it with a blacksmith hammer. Making the steel denser with every hit.

They were careful with tempering not to deform the sword while also hammering it to become denser. They soon put it inside the icy water after the hundredth tempering. It sizzles as they put it inside.

"It was done now. Let us sharpen it then." Burnard then lifted the sword.

They soon used the grindstone and then sharpened it. Also putting leather on the handle and as well as leather strips for a strong grip.

"Nice! We are done now. Let us test its durability,"

Burnard then hammered the sword and it didn't even make a dent.

"It is strong, Well done," The blackmith said as he wiped the sword.

"Nice," Arthas replied, grinning.

They soon exited the blacksmithing area and then Arthas saw the weapons scattered inside. He was wondering if he could enchant them for extra income.

"Can I enchant these things?" Arthas asked shyly. Wondering if he could help. It was extra money.

"You can?"

"Yes!"

"Well, I will gladly pay for it! Hahaha!" he laughed energetically.

Arthas then started his enchanting. With the enchanting table, he used an enchanting scroll to lay down one enchantment on each weapon. It was Fire damage, Frost damage, as well as Shock damage. Also Life steal, Mana steal, and Stamina steal. Daggers, swords, maces, axes, and spears. As well as bows and many others. Armors too were enchanted with resistance enchantments like resist elements and resist physical damage. Also, magical damages are included.

"Good job! 5 gold for your assistance. Here are 20 gold coins for your work on enchantments haha!" Burnard said to him.

Arthas was excited to receive his money, "Thanks!"

He has 40 gold coins in total and it was worth it after all his labors. Putting it in his coin pouch and then pondered a bit.

While he was in a blacksmithing tent, he wanted to make his armor and weapons in the future. Due to a lack of strength and endurance, he can only make basic ones. Only iron weapons and leather armor.

He can enchant them and make them extraordinary items.

He went home and then planned to make enchanting scrolls. With paper and ink as well as his mana to create one. He found empty scrolls in his house and then wrote the seal of enchanting while infusing mana on the quail feather pen.

He draws a circle first then a star with six rays in the middle. Also pouring out mana while doing so. Making the seal glow after he finished the craft. He rolled the paper and then made another one with the same process. He made three out of those and will use them on his weapon or armor in the future.

As for the enchanting, he can only make one enchantment on one item. With more growth in the future. His skill will make him create two or more enchantments on each scroll.
