First Meet

The night is noisy, the sound of motorcycle engines echoing against the jet-black sky. Smoke billows from the exhaust pipes of the racing bikes lined up horizontally. The hustle and bustle of young people lined the roadside. The big bikes are ready to race to the finish line. Each rider's gaze was straight ahead and serious.

"Are you ready, guys?" called a woman in a leather jacket under a tank top and hot pants. She held a black and white checkered flag in her hand.

The only response was the sound of a motorcycle, echoing louder and louder through the quiet streets.

"One ....," the woman called out as she began to count.

"Two ....," she continued excitedly.

"Three ...." At the count of three, all the motorcycles opened their throttles and picked up speed. Eight of the motorcycles that were participating in the wild race were racing each other's speed, getting ahead of each other, passing each other, and no one wanted to back down. The stakes tonight were high, three thousand dollars with a bet of one hundred and fifty dollars each.

Add to that the bets of the spectators on the winnings of the race for the drivers. Max, a young man among the eight wild racers, led the race. He rode ahead of the other racers.

He tilted his body to squeeze through one of the sharply curved corners. Then he shifted gears when the road was straight with no curves. He pulled on the throttle and went much faster.

Behind Max was Dariel, Max's rival, always trying to beat him. "Damn, he can't win the race again tonight!" Dariel's inner whisperer planned something in his brain. An evil plan to take Max out of this wild race and defeat him.

The young man then increased his speed. Little by little, Dariel began to pass Max. Dariel kicked Max's bike until it crashed and fell, dragging Max's bike along the road for ten meters. Dariel laughed happily, "Feel that, Max. This time you're going to lose to me!"

Max's condition was not good. The leather jacket that protected his body had been destroyed in several places, leaving his body injured. Max looked at Dariel angrily. "Shit! I'll get you for this, you little bastard!" Max said as he rebuilt his beloved bike. He got on the bike and tried to revive it. Unfortunately, the bike wouldn't start. "Aaah ... asshole! Come on, let's win the race tonight, honey! Don't let me down, you've never been so cranky!" Max babbled at the bike. Tried it again.

Broom.

The exhaust sound was so loud that Max's bike came back to life. "All right, sweetie, let's catch that little bastard and win this race!" said Max. But before Max could hit the gas, his body suddenly felt hot. Not only that, but his whole body ached with pain. "Aaagh! My body?" Max cried softly.

"Shit! What's wrong with my body? Why is it suddenly shaking and aching all over?" thought Max as he hugged himself. Max turned off the bike. "I have to find a warm place. My body can't stand this cold!" he mumbled. He got off the bike. Walked away from the bike.

His feet kept moving. However, all over Max's body were fine hairs that became very dense with black and white colors. "What is this? How can the hair on my body grow so fast?" Then, one by one, changes happened to him. Max's fingernails and toenails became very pointed and sharp, as did his ears.

"Damn it! Why is my body suddenly changing so horribly?" Max had not yet realized who he was. "Whether I like it or not, I have to find a place to hide before someone sees me!" The young man ran as his body almost turned into a hairy creature with sharp nails.

"No, please stop!" pleaded Max, feeling pain every time his body changed periodically. "I have to hide from here quickly. Otherwise, people will think I'm a monster!" thought Max.

The young man continued to run, trying to find a quiet place under the dim lights, away from the crowds, to hide. Max then stopped at a stable owned by one of the locals. The young man, who had recently moved to town, looked left and right. He made sure the place was safe and that no one was coming.

He hurried inside, then stepped further into the room filled with several types of farm animals. Max sat in a huddle, his body was cold, but sometimes it got hot. As he felt now, sweat was pouring down his body after feeling the cold. Max took off his shirt. Then it became painful down to his bones, so self-torturing.

"Oh my God! What's wrong with me? Am I a monster?" Max thought. "No, I'm not a monster! Please stop gnawing at my body, it hurts so much!" Max was so tormented by the feeling he was now experiencing. Then the change came back to him. His face was covered with fine, rapidly growing hair. His ears began to taper upwards, then his teeth became sharp.

"Kyaaak!" she screamed as loud as she could. Then it howled loudly. "Graaao!"

Then somewhere else, in a simple house far from the crowd.

"Gwen, are you howling like a wolf?" an old woman shouted at her granddaughter Gwen.

"No, Grandma? Do you think I'm a wolf?" protested the pretty girl with blonde, slightly curly hair.

"Then who howled?" asked the old woman, coming out of her kitchen. "Did the wolf get into the barn yesterday and prey on our livestock again?"

Gwen just shrugged.

"Can you Check the Farm, Gwen? So that the wolf does not eat our farm animals again!" pleaded Gwen's grandmother.

The girl snorted. "All right, I'll check the farm!" Gwen lazily got up from the couch by the TV. Grabbing a flashlight, she left the house and took a short walk to her grandparents' farm. Since her grandfather died, she and her grandmother were the ones who took care of the farm.

Gwen slowly opened the door to the cage of her farm animals. She didn't want the wolf to escape this time. Then, the girl brought out a long, strong iron bar. "Damn, wolf! Doesn't he know when to bother me when I'm watching my favorite drama?" Gwen complained.

She became a brave girl when her grandfather died a year ago.

"Grrr!" The eerie sound came from in front of her. Right in the goat pen. Gwen hurried to point her flashlight at the sound.

The girl was startled. Her eyes widened, and her mouth dropped open. "No way!" Her lips stuttered. What she saw was not a small or normal-sized wolf, but a big wolf with a tall, and scary body. Yet still in human form.

"W-who are you?" she asked, still shining the flashlight on the young man. His mouth was covered in blood. Gwen also pointed the flashlight in another direction. "Oh my God!" The girl rushed to cover her mouth. Shock, shock was now haunting her emotions.
