The servant was even more afraid because the young man's father was more sadistic and vicious. If he made a mistake, he would kill mercilessly.
"W-well, sir!"
The young man left the castle and went to his car. But a black car stopped him. "Father?" he said quietly, narrowing his eyes. "Damn, why is he coming so fast?" he thought, not liking his father's arrival.
A man who never aged got out of the car. Dressed in black service fatigues with neatly styled hair. "Where are you going, Lex?" the man asked sarcastically.
"None of your business, old man!" The young man looked so displeased at his father's expression that he quickly turned his head away.
"What did you say? Didn't you know I was coming to see you?" the man Alex called "Dad," asked. "Do you dislike me that much, Lex?" the man's fingers gripped Alex's shoulders, causing him to wince in pain.
"I-it's because you killed my mom," Alex said, frowning as he endured the pain of the man's fingernails digging into the outer layer of his shoulder. Alex held his father's hand, then tried to pull his father's hand away from his shoulder.
"Ngeh... so that stupid woman is the reason you're fighting me, Alex?" The man continued to press his fingers, making Alex's shoulder bleed.
"Don't call my mother 'stupid', old man!" Alex looked angry even though he was in pain.
The man released his grip. Then he walked for a while until they were facing each other. "She was a fool to trust me so much that she died at my hands and lost her heart!"
"I told you not to call my mother a 'fool'! Are you deaf, old man?" Alex's voice rose. The man laughed.
"Alex... Alex... you're too naive to defend this woman. After all, we've been separated for a long time, haven't we? So, can you be nice to me?"
"I won't! I wish you were dead, not my mother. And you're such an ignorant bastard!" Alex swore at him, his expression filled with resentment towards his father.
"How dare you talk to your father like that!" The man clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. Then, the look turned unfriendly toward Alex. As for the young man, he had long held a grudge against his father, and now he wanted to avenge his mother's death on the man in front of him.
"Do I have to beat you up to teach you how to honor your father, Alex!"
"Bastards like you don't deserve to be called dad!" Alex said, returning the man's sardonic look. "I'd rather die than call you Dad!"
"Damn it, that's what you want, don't blame me if you die like your pathetic mother, Alex!" The man took off his jacket and attacked Alex at high speed.
Alex stayed focused, but it was his condition that made him lose speed to his father. The childhood illness was coming back.
The man's fist shot out like lightning.
Thump.
Alex was thrown quite far. Dragged to the floor of his castle courtyard. The man grinned.
"Master!" Alex's loyal servant chuckled, worried about his master's weakened state from lack of blood intake.
"Stop right there and stay out of this!" the resistant man glared at the servant. Alex's father approached his son, looking suspicious as he chuckled. "Is this the way your mother raised you, Alex? Weak and looks like a wimp." The man regretted that his son was physically weaker than Patricia. The daughter he had taken care of since his separation from Kyla, Alex and Patricia's mother.
"You are so pathetic!" he continued. Alex ignored his father's words. He tried to get up, but the man wouldn't let him.
Thump.
Thump.
The man kicked Alex in the chin, causing him to spin in the air and fall back down. On his stomach this time. "Have you forgotten Alex? I am Lucas, the vampire king who rules the entire southern land of vampires," he boasted.
But Alex didn't care about his father's status. Once again, the young man just wanted to stand up and fight his father.
And once again...
Thud.
Lucas held his head down and buried his foot in Alex's head until the young man could do nothing. He almost died of breathlessness at the hands of his father.
"Shit! I don't want to die for nothing before I kill him!" his mind whispered. He struggled to free himself from the grip of his father's hand. He resisted the pressure of Lucas' legs to keep his breath.
"You cannot win against me, Alex. For my power is immortal, and no vampire in this world can match or defeat me!" Lucas boasted, his arrogance evident as the two blind men looked at Alex sarcastically.
Unfortunately, Alex could not break the strength of Lucas' legs. Instead, his strength seemed to vanish into thin air. "Look at you, you're such a loser, Lex!"
"Son of a bitch, I won't let you kill me, old man!" screamed Alex, holding his body with both hands so he could breathe.
The old man laughed. Then he pulled Alex's hair after moving his feet away from his eldest son's head. Alex was forced to stand up and look at him. "Now that I think about it, you'd rather die at my hands like that bitch!" Lucas said, and...
Thud.
The hard blow of his fist made Alex's nose bleed in a single blow. "Pathetic! Didn't your mother teach you, Alex?" Lucas asked sarcastically.
Alex was silent. His body was not doing well right now. The heart disease he had always left him in a weak state. His heart lacked a lot of blood because when his mother was dying, Alex gave some of his blood to keep his mother alive. But luck was not on Kyla's side. His mother died and still left him.
"Shit! If I hadn't given my blood to Mom, I might have been able to fight her, but I wouldn't have won!" Alex regretted.
Lucas started to clench his fingers again. He clenched his fists, "I won't spare you this time, Alex!" he shouted. He swung his hand and...
struck.
His hand stopped right in front of Alex's face. It was only three centimeters away, a little too late, and Alex's face would have been even more battered. The young man breathed a sigh of relief when his father's fist didn't hurt his face.
Lucas' eyes narrowed, and he glared sarcastically at the intruder of his fun. Then his forehead furrowed. "You?" Lucas said, his expression growing angrier.
****
"You?" said Lucas, his expression growing angry. Her eyes rounded sharply. "What are you doing here?" asked Lucas, not liking that she was interrupting his fun."Are you crazy, beating your flesh and blood?" she asked without answering Lucas' question."None of your business, Ursula." Lucas stared at the woman even more intensely. Then he looked at the weak Alex. "This brat deserves to die!" he said. His fingers tightened their grip."Then I'll stand in your way, Lucas!" the woman shouted. Her expression was serious, defending and freeing Alex. Her hand gripped Lucas' arm as well."Fuck you, Ursula!" yelled Lucas. He began to throw his punches. He dodged as fast as he could. "Shit!" grumbled Lucas. "You, I'll continue our business after I kill him!" Lucas said seriously. He let go of Alex's neck."All right, Ursula, I'll kill you before I kill this fucking kid!" Lucas stretched his muscles. Then, his body gradually transformed into a very scary one. The original form of the Vampire Ki
Ursula was in a state of distress. She was already injured very badly. "Damn, I can't fight her! I'll die if I don't continue to fight," she whispered inwardly as she was cornered. He couldn't do anything with his weakened body. The rain of punches made her feel the brunt of it. The woman finally got up, forcing herself to fight Lucas. Her fingernails looked sharp, then her fangs sharpened. Ursula ran then, attacking Lucas aimlessly."I won't let you kill us again, Lucas!" she swore. Her hand swung out, clawing at Lucas' stomach. Lucas just smiled as the wound wasn't too bad. But the blood that oozed from the wounds made Lucas strike back at Ursula. He hit Ursula's chin until she was knocked away, and...Thud.Once again, the body caused the castle wall to shatter. "Aaauh!" She groaned in pain. The blood had already made the color of her clothes change."You insolent woman! How dare you hurt my body!" Lucas cursed in annoyance. From a distance, Alex asked John to help Ursula. He didn'
Eight hours after passing out.Max awoke from his stupor. His wound was already bandaged. "Where am I?" he whispered to himself as he massaged his still dizzy head."You're finally awake, sir!" Traynor brought Max breakfast."What about me, Traynor?" asked Max, trying to remember what happened last night. Traynor didn't answer but placed the breakfast on Max's nightstand."Last night you went out on a full moon night, then you passed out and were almost kidnapped by three vampires in the south," Traynor explained. He noticed that Max was still confused."WHAT?" Max looked shocked. "But wait! Why did the night of the full moon turn me into a werewolf? Am I a werewolf?" Max asked. All this time he had refused to admit that he was a werewolf, even though Traynor had told Max who he was."Yes, how many times have I told you, sir? That you are a werewolf!" Traynor put Max's breakfast on the table by the bed."That can't be, haven't I changed since I was a child on full moon nights? But why
"He's a vampire!" Max said, further clarifying who John was."No way!" Gwen looked at John. The young man was Gwen's best friend since childhood, who had disappeared without a word. This was the first time she had seen John again and heard such a terrible accusation from a stranger."Shit! Who exactly is this young man? If he is not an ordinary human, what clan is he from?" John whispered as he began to panic. He shot an intimidating look at Gwen and the townspeople who heard Max's words. "I need to be able to hide my identity from Gwen and this young man!" he whispered bitterly again."You can't just make accusations! He's my childhood friend. If he were a vampire, he would have sucked my blood by now!" Gwen snapped. "Besides, he's resistant to the sun. Since he's okay with sunlight, you can't make things up and accuse my friend!"John smiled happily since he didn't have to expend any energy on the matter."Never mind John, don't listen to this crazy young man. Let's go!" Gwen said a
The atmosphere in the classroom on the first day of class was boisterous. Everyone was chatting, getting to know each other, and trying to get along. Gwen sat in the middle while Max sat in the back. His wolf eyes could see everything even though he was so far away.Max's scent came back to Gwen's body scent. Then, his eyes became very sharp as he looked at her. "It's true, this scent is from her body!" Max thought. Although he had known it ten minutes ago, he had doubted that the scent came from Gwen's body. "And this girl is in my class," he thought again and smiled.Gwen noticed that Max was watching her. The girl hurried to look at her seatmate. "Damn, what a dream I had last night to be in class with her!" Gwen thought, clutching her fingers. The girl looked back to find Max's eyes still on her. Max's smile made Gwen even more annoyed. Then, the girl did what she never did with anyone else. She pointed her middle finger at Max. The young man just smiled. The class began very qui
"T-they're vampires?" she stammered, just realizing that John was a vampire. Then he fell silent with a pale and frightened face. He hid behind Max's body."Stay away from me if you want to live!" Max said. Gwen nodded.John moved quickly. He launched an improvised attack when Max was not ready to fight. "Damn! He stole the start!" thought Max. He quickly turned around and pulled Gwen's hand away from John's attack. Then Max kicked John.Thump.John's stomach was hit by Max's hard kick. His body bounced and crashed into a large tree in the backyard of the campus. Gwen looked shocked, this was the first time she had seen a vampire fight. "That young man, why is he so strong? Isn't he ....?" "I'm not a vampire, miss. So don't think anything of me," Max snapped at Gwen's inner speech. The girl was shocked by his words."How can he read my mind?" thought Gwen with a frown. Alex joined Max's attack. Max's wolf eyes quickly reacted to his brain. Then, the young man wrapped his arms around
Alex smiled happily. He had his first target, and he hoped that Ursula would defeat Max and take him to the place he had agreed upon. Not the castle, but John's house in the suburbs not far from Gwen and Max's college. It was just down the road from Gwen's grandmother's house. The house had been abandoned by the family for a long time. John had also been with Alex ever since he had been rescued by Alex when his body nearly froze to death in the snow.Gwen had been tied up with rope, her body lying unconscious. "I smelled the lush scent of blood. It's like my soul wants to suck her blood right now!" Alex said. She approached Gwen and gently stroked her cheek. "And I also feel that my strength will increase after so long the power in my body has disappeared!""Yes sir, I feel the same! If only I had known longer that this girl had special blood, maybe I would have brought it to you," said John. "By the way, where is Miss Ursula? Why is she taking so long with this young man?" asked John
Thump.Max jumped away.Praang.His body slammed into the display case, shattering it and scattering it on the floor. Max winced in pain as shards of glass pierced his back. His body tried to protect Gwen from the broken glass. "Damn, that hurts," Max complained as he tried to get up.Blood dripped from the small wounds on Max's back. "Why is this woman's body so heavy?" his inner whisper grumbled. As blood-loving creatures, Alex and Ursula's scent was drawn to Max's blood. Instinctively fierce as vampires, Ursula and Alex became violent. Staring intently with fiery red eyes. Approaching Max with such lust that they wanted to taste Max's blood."You're not going anywhere, wolf boy!" said Max, baring his sharp fangs. Max froze in front of the two vampires, infatuated with the tantalizing scent of his blood. "Damn, I knew they'd be tempted by my blood!" He whispered. He looked at Gwen. She was still convulsing, the reaction of the vampire's venom taking over the red blood cells in he
Gwen ran, swinging her arms with large chunks of wood. Unfortunately, the girl had no idea who her current opponent was. "I'll kill you, you disgusting vampire!" screeched Gwen angrily. Then ....Thump.Instead, Lucas easily eliminated Gwen in just one move. Gwen bounced, the big log came loose and her body dragged across the thick grassy ground. She was breathing heavily, as if Lucas' punch had stopped her breathing. "The power, why is it so strong?" Gwen thought. She was about to get up. But her chest was hurting, she coughed and a lot of red liquid came out. "Damn, this hurts. His internal force is making my inner chest hurt so much.""GWEN! GET OUT OF THERE!" Max shouted as loud as he could. The girl turned her head toward Max, quickly turning back to Lucas. Unfortunately, the girl had not yet escaped from Lucas."Aaaargh!!!" screamed Gwen. Lucas' sharp hoofed fingers had already strangled Gwen's neck at lightning speed, even the girl's eyes couldn't follow. She was too late to ru
"What the hell, Grandma? He's a human, not a ghost or an animal!" "He's an animal, Gwen!" said Samantha firmly with her prejudice against Max. "He's more like a wolf!" said Gwen's grandmother, making Max and his granddaughter gasp in shock. They looked at each other confused and astonished, how Samantha knew she was a wolf. "I-I?" Samantha nodded confidently. Deg. Max's heart skipped a beat. Silent in silence. "B-how did she know?" The atmosphere became very tense and awkward. "And this can't be a normal human doing this!" thought Max once again. He frowned as he stared intently at Samantha. Gwen hurriedly stepped closer to Samantha. "Grandma... what are you talking about?" Gwen held her grandmother's body back from sniffing Max again. "He's... he's a human, not a wolf. Max drove me home!" Gwen said, changing the subject to stop Samantha from acting stupid. "I-yeah, Gwen's right... I-I'm human, Gran. There's no way I'm a wolf. If I were a wolf, I'd have devoured Gwen like
Max arrived first through the portal door. Their souls returned to their respective bodies. The young man woke up before Gwen, his face still worried. Then he approached the girl who was still lying unconscious. "Gwen?" Max's fingers linked Gwen's fingers. He held her very tightly. "Come to your senses Gwen. Don't make me worry!" Max exclaimed in a very soft tone of voice, while kissing the back of the girl's hand. His worries had not disappeared before Gwen regained consciousness. Within minutes, Gwen's eyes began to blink. The half-wolf's eyelids opened wide slowly. "Auh!" She cried out in pain. Although her body was not physically injured, her soul was in pain. Her bones felt crushed. "Gwen... thank goodness you're awake!" Max was very happy to see that the woman he loved was awake. His smile widened, he was about to hug the girl. "Don't take any chances, young man! We're nobodies and we haven't met in person either!" Gwen held Max's chest from coming closer. The young man immedi
Max made a fist, putting all his strength into that fist. He lifted, then prepared. He was very close to the glass wall that stood between him and Gwen. Max punched it.Nothing happened to the wall at first. The wall was too thick to be broken with a single punch. Max tried once more, the young man never gave up, for Gwen's sake he would try to break the wall and free Gwen from the strange place in the girl's mind."Hang in there, Gwen. I will destroy this wall!" Max promised Gwen. He didn't care if the back of his hand had to hurt and bleed. In the young man's mind was only the girl he had fallen in love with since that unexpected encounter at Gwen's grandmother's farm. Max again exerted his strength, driving his fist into the wall. Again and again, once more without letting up. His determination was too strong, the blows continued unabated. "Max... hurry, I can't take it anymore!" The young man was getting more and more compassionate, there was a belief in him that he would be able
Max's power did not work in the dream world. He was bounced very far and fell down amongst the grass that was growing very lushly. In fact, the blow was not very strong, but he could not withstand it. He also couldn't break through the attack formation of the wolf clan ancestors. "Damn, how can their blows hurt this much?" muttered Max waking up.Meanwhile Gwen was defending from the other wolf packs. The girl was starting to get overwhelmed against the wolves that she couldn't stop attacking. "What the hell? Why aren't any of my punches taking them down?" Gwen thought anxiously. Although she was of the same clan, her strength was far below that of the wolf clan ancestors. "Shall we end this fight, Prince?" said one of the brown-haired ancestors."I'll stop if you release her!" Snapped Max. The young man was too stubborn to make peace. Then he prepared to attack again."Stop that, Prince. You can't win against us. You might die at our hands, Prince!" interrupted the other ancestor we
Max's soul began to leave his body. Then, instantly another dimensional gate appeared to penetrate Gwen's dreamland. The young man immediately entered the gate, he didn't want to waste any time. Traynor was shocked to see what Max did."What a stupid kid. What does he want to do?" At first the man thought Max wanted to accompany Gwen to sleep, but in fact Mac had the nerve to interfere with the girl's transition. "Does he want to die? Gosh, why is he so stupid?" Traynor was worried. Because, if someone enters the dreamland of a wolf who is still in transition, it will not be that easy to return."Prince... Prince listen to me. Come back to your real world!" Traynor shouted. But the man's voice could not reach where Max was.Max was already in Gwen's dreamland. He sniffed Gwen's body odor. The breeze delivered a trail of Gwen's body odor to Max's nasal cavity. "There!" thought Max, the young man ran after the instinct that guided his feet. "Wait for me, Gwen. I'll save you!" The girl w
Elsewhere.Lucas looked upset after being defeated by, Ursula and Alex. Some of his men died with their bodies dried up and blackened. Every time he was angry, there were victims who had to die at Lucas' hands."Quickly, you find the old woman and the boy. Bring them back alive!" Lucas ordered angrily. "Then you ...." Lucas pointed at his trusted aide. "Take me to the dungeon!" he continued. The aide told Lucas to follow him.Lucas and his aide passed through a long, slightly dark hallway. Candlelight illuminated the hallway lazily. It was dim. Then the two of them turned a corner at the end of the hallway, after reaching the end of the hallway the two men stopped stepping in front of the door. Lucas's aide immediately opened the door guarded by two bodyguards. Lucas rushed in, followed by his aide who didn't dare to follow him inside. Standing by the door.Lucas smiled as his eyes took in the figure of the woman lying helplessly weak. "How are you, Kyla?" greeted Lucas. As it turned
Gwen threw away the wood in her hand. Then turned her back to Max with a slightly annoyed face. Her hands were unable to hurt the young man who made her a werewolf. "Get out of my sight!" the girl sighed. But the young man was silent, he approached Gwen and did not care about the girl's words."Sorry!""I've forgiven you, so, don't ever appear in front of me again." "But Gwen... I can't. You know ... all this is God's will, He made you as my partner!" Max still stubbornly wanted to convince Gwen who was in a broken state and lost faith in Max."Stop all that nonsense, Max! I'm not your mate, and don't ever make it your excuse to make me a disgusting werewolf like you!" "But Gwen... all that--""I said go away, Max. Are you deaf? I don't want to hear anything more from you, Max--" Gwen's body was suddenly unsteady, weakened by the blurred vision of her eyes. Falling unconscious.Thud."Gwen!!!" she screamed. Then Max checked her pulse. A slow pulse. "She fainted!" he said. The young
Max staggered over and sat down on the sofa. Traynor approached the young man, seeing his master looking confused and haggard. "What is it, Prince? Have you spoken to him?" the man asked curiously, placing a glass of water on the table for Max. Traynor was still keeping the effects on Gwen's body after becoming a werewolf a secret."She's mad at me and won't talk to me or forgive me," Max said unenthusiastically. He was very disappointed by Gwen's answer, who did not care about his earlier explanation."So what are you going to do now?" Traynor sat nearby with great curiosity."I don't know, I don't know either, Traynor," Max replied resignedly. But not with his heart. He was beginning to like Gwen, even though he had only met her twice. At first sight, in Gwen's grandmother's barn, Max sensed a difference in Gwen. Not only was her sweet-smelling blood different from ordinary humans, but his heart told him that she was his future mate.Max had just rested his head on the sofa. He had
