Sam lit a cigarette, taking a few drags as he contemplated.

In a company, employee turnover was a common occurrence, something Sam had become accustomed to as an employer.

However, he was most concerned about the departure of key personnel, especially those directly responsible for specific projects. Such losses could lead to the collapse of an entire project.

Marco was a team member on a project. Even if he left, others could step in, and the impact wouldn't be too significant.

But shortly after, two more employees approached him, both wanting to resign. Both were technical staff.

Sam wasn’t one to tolerate nonsense. "If you want to resign, that’s fine. Just make sure you hand over your work properly. You can leave in a month."
