During that period, Sylvia had had a poor appetite, so Amelia was thrilled to see Sylvia actively seeking food now.

Sylvia nodded and said, "Mom, I'm hungry."

Unfortunately, the refrigerator didn't have much food, and the leftovers from the lunch had been tossed. There were some desserts, but Sylvia wasn't a fan.

Amelia rushed to the living room and said, "Brook! Call the restaurant and order Sylvia's favorite dishes!"

Brook promptly stood up and made the call. He was concerned Sylvia couldn't wait, so he offered to pick up the food himself.

The gloomy mood in the Williams residence lightened considerably.

Sylvia used to have a hearty appetite, but it had waned since her face was disfigured. Hence, her sudden desire to eat was a pleasant surprise.

"Great!" one of the experts remarked. "A positive mindset can aid recovery. Plus, it's essential to shed fewer tears."

Sylvia nodded, determined not to lose weight before Eric's return in two weeks.
