"Let them in, Madam Baresi," Eric said.

After a while, Felicia brought a woman. Eric and Sylvia recognized her. It was Jessica, the one who had visited the Williams in Salt City.

"Have you had breakfast?" Sylvia asked. "If not, come and join us. Madam Baresi just prepared it."

Jessica smiled faintly. "Thanks, but I've already eaten."

Sylvia nodded and quietly sat down for breakfast. Eric occasionally shared tasty morsels with Sylvia. Jessica observed in silence without saying much.

After breakfast, Eric approached Jessica. "Is someone in your family unwell?"

Although Jessica and her family had attended Orion's funeral in the past few days, she had not spoken much with Eric. Even now, Eric did not know much about Jessica's identity. However, he did not really care about those he was not interested in.

He could not see any signs of illness from Jessica's healthy appearance. It was likely that someone in her family was sick.

Jessica smiled and said, "It's not my family. It's me."
