Zoe, fearing he might do something even crazier, spoke calmly, "Let's go."

Mason loosened his grip on her slightly.

She bid farewell to Cecil, who smiled faintly.

"Zoe, come over to hang out when you have time. My mom really misses you."

Ignoring Mason, she walked straight to the black Bentley, opened the passenger door, and got in.
