Chapter 199
Mason went back to their bedroom, but Zoe was nowhere to be seen. He was frozen to the spot for a few seconds before he climbed the stairs to the third floor and opened the door to the room where she practiced her violin.

As he had guessed, she was right there. The violin was tossed onto the ground and she, too, fell onto the carpet. She looked so miserable, as if someone had irreparably ruined her intricate life!

Mason felt a pang of guilt at the sight. Taking light steps toward her, he knelt and said tenderly, “How about we travel and clear your mind? Go ahead and pick any country. Didn’t you used to want to go on a honeymoon trip? I can spare an entire month for traveling as soon as I wrap up the jobs I have on hand now.”

Lowering her head, she ran her fingers across her violin gently.

After a long pause, she said softly, “I want to go to Hucksburgh!”

Perhaps she wanted to attend the music concert, he thought. Aiden’s Global Classical Music Concert would be premiering tomorrow.
