Chapter 203
After returning to Brookesville, she bought an apartment that was over a thousand two hundred square feet for Gordon and Mia with the money she got from selling the manor. It wasn’t as extravagant a place as what Mason provided them, but it was comfortable enough.

Mia felt uneasy. Pulling Zoe aside, she asked, “You spent all of your money to buy this apartment. What happens if you need more funds for Noah’s case or if you’re in an emergency?”

Zoe assured her that there was nothing to worry about.

Taking a share certificate out of the drawer, Zoe showed it to her and said, “I own two percent of the Lockwood Corporation’s shares. The dividends alone are worth three hundred million dollars! With this, I won’t ever have to worry about money.”

That did nothing to make her feel better, though. She had dealt with Mason on several occasions and she figured she knew a thing or two about him. It had never been easy to take his money, much less the dividends!
