Her eyes were already glazed with tears.

"Mother,do not cry. Dorothy is a grown up woman so definitely,she knows how to tell white apart from black."he cajoled.

She left his hand and breathed out.

"No. She is only a woman."she sniffed.

"Do.. Dorothy shouldn't just leave like that. She is a woman,where would she go!

We don't have many relatives here.

The few we have are unknown to her. Do.."she wheezed.

Quan sucked a breath in.

For fvck sake,he didn't come back to the past to witness such a dramatic event.
