Bai Feng watched as the door of the residence closed in his face, and Shredder's slave grabbed him again by the ponytail to take him to the kitchen of this place.

Bai Feng felt this position was rather awkward as he used his sleazy ponytail to make it fall out of the slave's grasp.

The slave was surprised at how greasy Bai Feng's hair was, then he looked at his hand and grimaced. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to touch Bai Feng at all.

He wanted to clear his dirty hand somewhere, but there was nothing that could be used around, so he put his hand on the ground, trying to get rid of the greasy feeling with some dirt.

Bai Feng found this situation to be familiar, so he waited for the man to finish.

However, if he knew where the kitchen was and if he was also allowed there without the slave, he wouldn't have waited for him as he wasted a good time when he could have been stuffing his face.

He couldn't wait for more as his stomach started to rumble. He looked at the slave who hadn't finished cleaning his hand before picking him up as if he was a sack of potatoes and asked:

"In what direction is the kitchen?"

The slave was extremely frightened by the sudden feeling of being picked up. And his position wasn't really comfortable as well, but looking at Bai Feng's pudgy face and his expression which looked almost as if he was ready to eat him if he didn't respond that made him point towards the kitchen's direction, which was the same direction that Bai Feng first smelled food from when he arrived with Ming Du.

His nose was right, but he knew that moving towards it was more dangerous than it looked.

Who knew what kind of guardians would the kitchen that served the food for immortals had?

While Bai Feng loved the food, it wasn't to the point that he would lose his reasoning for it.

Bai Feng made his way towards the kitchen with the slave on his shoulder, which made the people that walked around give him second glances as he wasn't someone that the people knew. A random guy was kidnapping Shredder's slave?

That's what most people thought, but then they saw that the slave wasn't struggling- so they decided to let him do whatever he wanted as Shredder had quite the big reputation around these parts of the sect, if his slave wasn't struggling or calling for help, it either meant that Shredder had abandoned him, or he had to do something that lent him in this situation.

Being a loan shark and having the favor of the sect master also helped him.

Bai Feng's mouth started to water the closer he got to the kitchen, and the smell of the food intensified.

He could almost feel the food going into his mouth and tasting the heavenly sweetness.

His speed started to pick up as he ran towards the direction of the kitchen, which left a cloud of dust behind him that the other disciples couldn't help but inhale as they breathed in, some of them even wanted to scold him and give him a beating but considering his speed and the fact that he had a person on his shoulder gave them second thoughts. What if he was a dangerous kidnapper?

He looked like a hobo to them, but it was better to be safe than sorry as in their type of work. They met a lot of con masters every day. And they didn't want to risk their butts for a situation that could potentially be a misunderstanding.

Bai Feng's steps were heavy but steady as he approached a big white painted building with a big sign of a ladle and a spatula crossed together, and under the sign where the words were boldly written- Kitchen and mess hall.

Bai Feng could smell an otherworldly aroma coming from inside the kitchen while he dropped the man from his shoulder.

Then pushed him forward through the closed doors of the establishment and opening them in the process.

The slave was embarrassed by this situation as he glanced around to see if anyone else saw what happened.

It was bad enough. So many passing disciples saw him being carried around like a sack of potatoes.

Even if he was a slave, he still had his own dignity.

He dusted his clothes as he entered the kitchen and said with a loud tone:

"Bamboo pole Mo Pian, A message from Shredder came for you!"

"Hmm?"

A lazy voice was heard- coming from the mess hall as a tall and thin young man came out to meet the slave and Bai Feng.

He wore an oversized tank top for his thin frame. That was kept together to his body by his white apron, which had the same insignia that the sign outside had. It also had a few grease stains on it. He wore brown baggy pants and sandals, and he also had a small goatee. His hair was done in a top bun and kept together by a white bandana. His gaunt face and small brown eyes analyzed both Bai Feng and the slave as he asked with the same lazy voice:

"Shredder wants something from me? He wants to double the interest again or what?"

The slave shook his head as he tried to push Bai Feng forward only to fail, as he realized that the boy was way heavier than he looked, even for fatty.

The slave coughed as he said:

"Shredder said that if you give this boy a job at the kitchen, he will halve your debt to him and also owe you a favor."

Mo Pian took another glance at Bai Feng. And seeing how greasy and fat he was, he felt a little bit disgusted by him.

The kitchen was a sacred place for him, and he didn't want to let a greasy fatty inside it and dirty it. What if his clients got a disease because the fatty was infected with something? He didn't want anything bad to happen to him and his kitchen.

Seeing that Mo Pian was having second doubts even after having such a good offer being sent to him. Made the slave take another glance at Bai Feng. Seeing how dirty he was, he understood what the man's concerns were.

"Don't worry, Shredder didn't say that he should get to work right now so you can get him to the river so he can clean himself and get him a new set of clothes with the kitchen's insignia."

The thin man took another glance at Bai Feng and then at the slave. He couldn't say that he wasn't tempted by having his debt cut in half and the big bad loan shark owing him a favor.

He sighed as he looked at the slave's hand, which- was extended towards him. Did he want to accept this deal?

Mo Pian's bony and long fingers stretched towards the man's palm as he took it into his own... he accepted the deal as it was too good, and he also needed a helper around. He couldn't do everything by himself forever.

The slave smiled, nodded, and then left, leaving Mo Pian and Bai Feng together.

Mo Pian then asked him with the same lazy tone:

"What's your name? I guess you heard him when he called me Mo Pian."

Bai Feng extended his greasy hand to shake his only for the man to take a few steps backward:

"Name's Bai Feng, when are we eating?"

"Right to the subject? You are really direct, aren't you?"

"Well, let me be frank with you as well. You won't get to eat anything until you work your fair share around here."

Bai Feng's stomach growled at the man's words.

Mo Pian shook his head seeing him acting like that, and he said:

"Come with me to get clean first. Then you can eat something, and after that, we will have to get to work as you won't get to eat for free. Do you understand?"

Bai Feng nodded and followed Mo Pian through the mess hall until they reached the back door. Which was near the kitchen door, and something really delicious was drifting from there.

A beautiful aroma drifted through the keyhole of the kitchen door that almost hypnotized Bai Feng into barging through. However, he slowly controlled himself as he stopped taking breaths.

He continued to follow Mo Pian out of the building, and he realized that behind the building was a small forest. That was filled with ingredients of all kinds.

He didn't recognize 99% of the ingredients he saw, including the animals that were running around while they walked through the forest and towards a nearby river.

It was a foodie's paradise!

Mo Pian knew the look in Bai Feng's eyes, and he could also see the small amount of drool that was leaving his mouth, so he decided to make things clear to him:

"This is the garden of the sect, and we are only allowed in it to cook the ingredients and animals for the benefit of the sect. Of course, we can also eat our fill, but we cannot eat too much, or it would be obvious the next time the inspection team comes around. Do you understand?"

Bai Feng nodded while he cleaned the drool from his mouth with his sleeve, which incited a disgusted look from Mo Pian once again.

It seemed that while he needed to teach the fatty how to cook, he also needed to instill some manners into him.

After a short while of walking, the duo reached the river where Mo Pian left him alone so he could clean himself. He also left so he could get some clean clothes for Bai Feng.

Bai Feng threw his greasy robe on the bank of the river. As he jumped directly in it, buck naked.

The water made splish-splash sounds as Bai Feng slowly started to cleanse himself. It had been quite a long while since he took his last bath, a month or five maybe?

He was scrubbing himself clean as the water around him started to darken due to the filth that was covering him.

It got so bad that something somewhat special happened while he was cleaning himself.

The water started to revolve around him, as the fishes that lived in it were slowly dying, Bai Feng started to get scared as the water surrounded him. What the hell was happening now?

Suddenly he felt himself getting dragged underwater by someone. He took in a big gulp of air before his face hit the water and he opened his eyes once he was underwater.

What he saw in front of him made his jaw hit the riverbed.

A naked blue-haired girl with her hair flowing towards her shoulders, she had a big glare on her face as she looked at Bai Feng and asked with an angry tone:

"Why are you polluting my river, you dirty human?"

Bai Feng was rather speechless, he was a rather young man, and like all young men, his member started to react at the beautiful image in front of him, which elicited a yelp from the person in question.

Things were taking a strange and awkward turn around...

He would lie if he said he wasn't a bit mad at the bird in his hands for what it did to him. He wasn't even sure why it attacked him when he tried to pick up the dirty pears back then. And naturally, he wanted revenge.Bai Feng just finished his business. Then he glanced at the owl in his hands, he realized that he had nothing to wipe himself with, and the owl's brown feathers gave him an idea for some impromptu toilet paper. He knew that it was childish to do this. After all, it was only an animal, but for what reason did the owl decide to attack him anyway? It deserved this! After Bai Feng finished cleaning himself, he left the owl under the shade of the tree. It was a little bit browner than

Mo Pian didn't have time to think about that as he grabbed Bai Feng by the shoulder and lifted him, making Bai Feng wake up and interrupting his meditative stance and making him cough up some blood. This disoriented Bai Feng as he glanced at Mo Pian with a puzzled expression which practically said:"Why have you done that?"However, Mo Pian immediately pointed towards the sky, ma

Mu An's cold expression was extremely foreign to Bai Feng. He had never seen her look like that at him. Colder than the ice core of the planet. The Mother of Heavens was rather happy to see Bai Feng's complicated look on his face as he looked at his sister. But the doors were extremely sturdy, and they also stopped his regeneration, so Bai Feng wasn't sure what they could do in this situation. He simply wasn't strong enough to blow the doors open. Of course, even as a fusion, their strength wasn't enough to have a close-quarters fight with Bai Feng. The only reason Bai Feng hadn't finished them off yet was because of their annoying tactics and the fact that they had regenerative capabilities that resembled those of a body cultivator. It looked like their powers were getting quite the boost while they were near The Mother of Heavens' base. Not like it mattered, Bai Feng was getting annoyed as he continued
