Chapter 16: Plague

The three night terror beast before them resembled humans having the body but their skin resembled dark oil and their face was missing with only large white fangs to show as they opened their maws to growl.

"We finally found you Sabogo!" One of them spoke with a monstrous cold tone Jolting all the students including Sai.

Was it possible that a night terror was able to speak.

"So you came here to kill me? Who sent you and what did they?" Sabogo kept his calm and spoke to the beast.

The night terror who spoke earlier growled bringing out it's enormous long tongue out of it's opened mouth to lick it's mouth, "you really think we after just you, but to wipe out the generation of Magus."

That was directed to the students and this statement got them all worked up.

Hart made a stand. According to Sabogo they were four and he could tell now, one was hiding somewhere, probably to ambush them.

[Sabogo is a powerful opponent that cannot be taken head on even by this three that's why they will be most dangerous]

'What do you mean by that? you said Sabogo was able to defeat them, while refrain from that and say they would be more dangerous?'

[Enemies are more dangerous when they know your true strength. Never underestimate the weak because they are not up to you.]

Hart nodded taking to heart the Phoenix Warlock's words. That was probably why the fourth one hid itself.

"Ok, now listen," Sabogo grinned raising his right hand up and making a weird gesture at the night terror's. "I give you ten seconds to run or else... You'll die."

"Fck you Sabogo!" One of the beast charged at Sabogo quicker than the human eyes could follow but to their surprise as the night terror got into a certain feet close to Sabogo it got repelled.

It's body was sent tumbling down to the ground several feet away with it's head seperated from it's body.

"Impossible!" One of the other beast pronounced at awe.

The speed of the attack was something they could not comprehend. He was truly powerful.

"I never knew Sensei Sabogo was this strong... We will surely win," Koran exclaimed.

"Hehehehe! Good one." The night terror who hand been taken down rose to it's feet another head growing in place of it's lost one. "But I won't die that easily."

"I thought as much... Your regeneration is splendid but you are still no match." Sabogo blew a raspberry and hissed at the night terror infuriating them.

"That was simply a distraction proud fool!" One of the night terror yelled to Sabogo gaining all his attention.

Sabogo swiftly turned around in panic to see Koran standing completely helpless and a Night terror beast opened it's large fangs above his head in attempt to bite it off. Hart was on the floor probably taken by surprise by the beast.

'I can't reach him or hit the monster without hitting the kid!' Sabogo bit his lips hard wanting to run back, but....

SPLOOOSH!

Too fast for anyone to react Sai cam from the side of Koran with a dagger in his hand. With that dagger he stabbed the Night terror beast in the eye socket and with his full force he managed to shoulder clash it so hard that it was sent soaring into the air and falling back first to the ground squirming in pain.

"Damned weaklings... I Sai will end your race."

Sabogo's expression quickly became pleased as he took his sights back to his enemy. Now they were the ones distressed.

'I don't know why I was so worried but those kids can handle themselves.'

"Now it's time you all die." Sabogo spoke walking to the three Night terror.

"You bastard!" One of the Night terror beast launched into the air quickly at Sabogo who quickly sidestepped and to his command and visible purple energy exited his eyes hitting the night terror on the chest and cutting it into two halves.

The next night terror attacked almost immediately as the first jumping claws first at Sabogo who already predicted this movements.

A white energy exited Sabogo and the energy wrapped itself around the Night terror's neck squeezing hard until it destroyed it's neck.

Afterwards the white energy tossed the body of the night terror into a tree dozens of get away.

'What the heck?' Sabogo's instinct jumped into action as a beast came from his side unoticed slashing it's claws at his face.

Luckily he was able to dodge barely. As the claw passed by his face he saw it oozing a red energy he wasn't farmiliar with.

'There's not enough time to analyze this!' Sabogo grabbed the night terror by the wrist his other hand catching a purple energy as he thrusted it into the gut of the terror beast tearing it apart into two halves.

"RAYAAAACCCCKKK!" The beast shrieked as Sabogo dropped it's halves to the ground.

The other beasts Sabogo had taken down before were already regenerated and headed for him, this time they were covered by a red energy which made them somewhat faster.

'They really came prepared I guess, looks like this would take more time.' Sabogo frowned straightening his stance and eyeing the enemy.

Meanwhile;

Hart was already on his feet and evading the quick attacks of the night terror.

It was quick and get smart. In the next attack it swung a claw and stabbed it right into Hart's side throwing him into the nearest tree with a loud thud.

"Kreecchl!" Hart coughed out blood falling to his side. Even Koran was better than him at it.

Sure he was stronger but when it came to maintaining his ability for a while he was weaker.

He raised his head up to see Koran laying deadly hits on the Night terror at full speed but his attacks did very little and in a few seconds he would get attacked in turn by the night terror flipped to a tree just like Hart.

The only person that did without taking a hit was Sai. His strength and speed was outstanding and his Abilities made a very large fatality to the night terror's wellbeing.

'Damn! Fuck holding back or waiting, I can't let this guys leave me in the dust.'

Hart rode up to his feet concentrating a large amount of Mana into his right fist making it surge with golden energy. After this he charged quickly at the Night terror which was distracted by Sai.

'Just make the attack...'

"AHHHHHH!" Hart screamed at the top of his voice reaching the Night terror while increasing his energy very significantly and striking the Night terror in the hind.

"RAYAAAACCCCKKK!" The Night terror shrieked at the type of it's voice as the punch threw it from the floor and crashing hard to the soil raising a large cloud of dust and grit.

"So you are not as weak as you look idiot," Sai commented reaching Hart and folding his hands.

He didn't look the hint of impressed just holding his regular pride and nothing else.

"I don't care what you think, we have to help Sabogo..."

"Don't be stupid, we haven't even done anything yet," Sai commented Jolting Hart.

"Even though your hit is really fatal their regeneration is crazy fast," Koran commented already beside them while holding his gut timidly.

"I suggest we start building energy up for final hits, the only was I see to kill this things would be full power attacks," Hart suggested but got a scoff from sigh.

"Just don't waste my comments and die fool."

"You bastards! How dare you hit me! A grade ten beast defiled by you kids..." The dust was final clearing and the night terror stood prominently in it with monstrous glares that pierced their souls. "Now you're really dead brats."
