The paper was engulfed in flames until there was nothing left. Bill just stared in disbelief at what Diana had done. Meanwhile, the woman did not show any expression.

"Are you crazy?" Bill exclaimed, facing Diana. "Do you know what you've done? That's our agreement. If this is how you get angry, you should--"

"If the contract doesn't exist, then the contract is also void." Diana said it in a matter-of-factly telling tone.

It was the woman's attitude that currently made Bill frown, even more confused and out of his mind. Diana's way of speaking did not show anger at all.

"Alright. That means I am now free from the influence of you and Mrs. Julie. I am no longer bound by that agreement and you have nothing to lose. You know that, but why?" Bill frowned incomprehensibly.

Diana shrugged. She then looked back at the dwindling flames with a faint smile. She had already realized the meaning of anxiety and worry in him, even when Bill was in trouble.
