I Trust You

In the end, Joana couldn't bear to refuse Bill's request to stay at her apartment. Seeing Bill's eye bags that looked a little blackened made Joana sure that Bill was not lying. The man seemed to be experiencing insomnia.

Joana didn't have a change of clothes for men. She had to buy a set of men's pajamas and new men's toiletries at a supermarket they passed.

"Wow, I'm such a hassle, huh," Bill muttered when he saw the bags of groceries Joana was carrying.

"Maybe next time you want to stay over, you should bring your personal items from home," Joana responded.

Bill chuckled. They continued on their way to Joana's apartment.

"I'll take a shower first, and then you," Joana said when they arrived at the apartment.

"Okay." Bill lay down on the sofa and turned on the television. For some reason, Joana's apartment felt much more comfortable than her luxurious room at the Rainer family mansion.
