I'm a Stingray? Chapter 109 - Duck; Accepted!
“What a bad time to talk about dual-sworded ducks,” Tim muttered, he was concerned. This was obviously not how he would wish for an event to unfold, he hadn't expected it, and he couldn’t have ever guessed that this duck that he imagined earlier on, would represent him today! It was unthinkable, and yet here he was, within the consequences of his own imagination!“Out of all the things you could have summoned, you chose a duck… why?” The three pyramids asked him, as even they questioned his decisions.“Because ducks are funny,” He answered honestly. Tim was deep in cow dung right now, so he didn’t bother trying to excuse himself. If he died because of his decisions, then this would truly be the most hilarious way for him to die. He didn't regret a thing!Perhaps he may die quickly too, because the pyramids spun even faster once Tim had answered them. Their velocity could contest that of a meteor's, so it was crystal clear that if something was to happen, it would happen now and it wo
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 110 - Sir Lestuk
After he left the nano-universe of Nul, Timothy had woken up with an improved quality of mana. Level five to be exact, otherwise known as Good Quality Mana!Since ‘good’ was in its name, Tim felt pretty excited about it, because he could finally pose a threat against the common dangers of this universe. The micro-universe of Valporovus was not for the weak, and he was sick of either running, or depending on others for help, so level five did him good. Two weeks later, however, he was at level six (dense, iron mana), which was even greater! Him and the team didn't have to use their mana all that much these days, and since Valporovus naturally encouraged faster mana-regeneration, progress was only inevitable! Nothing was holding them back, the rest of the team had the same amount of luck as he did.To further increase their progress, they made up their minds to start a journey towards the ruins of Aqumus! These ruins supposedly promised more mana per hour than any other place in the rea
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 111 - The Blizzard
The team was in a very peculiar situation. Tim had this ten foot tall ape on a choke hold, but since he was pouring mana into this advantage that he made for himself, he couldn’t keep things going for long, as his mana pool was not infinite! The Soul Grabber ability was currently taking sixty points of mana out of him, every second, and this example was not cheap. That aside, this ape seems to be quite tolerant to the team's attacks, they wouldn't be able to kill him so easily even if they wanted to! Tim felt that he had to negotiate. “Do we have to kill you, sir Lestuk?” He bluffed.“You can try,” The other picked up on his bluff.“You want me to try, huh? Okay.” Tim threatened, but this time he wasn’t bluffing as much, because he wasn't as clueless anymore - He had an idea! “Skendus, what do you make of his brain?”“Intelligent for an ape, but I'm probably smarter than him… by a nudge.” Skendus was quick to answer.Timothy smiled in response, this was the best thing that he heard t
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 112 - Dragons?
The atmosphere around them got colder, and colder, to the point where it was physically impossible to survive it for long! Arvena had practically sealed the exit of the nest that they were in, she sealed it with a scorching coating of fire, but that was not enough to make the team comfortable, for a couple of reasons.First things first, a sealed exit cut down on their oxygen supply pretty quickly, it left them almost breathless after ten minutes of her futile efforts. She had to stop it, because the fireball wasn't even helping the team warm up enough anyway, and that was the second reason why they were not comfortable. The surrounding cold temperature was too much of a competition for her to handle, virtually nothing could battle it!At best, she made the underground nest achieve a temperature of -5°C, and that was not enough to heat everybody up, especially since she couldn't keep this up for long. The air around them had only gotten colder from that point, and when she got rid of
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 113 - Blinking Dragon
The team warmed up. They started to look less and less like corpses now, and since their clothes and armor were not wet, they were able to recover quickly. In a timespan of half an hour, they were their normal selves again.Ortana seemed to have forgotten most of what happened, the cold really messed with her good from the looks of it, but she did remember something very specific. It was about Timothy.“You tried to ditch us!” She yelled out, and smacked him upside the head. “You treacherous bastard… you almost had me killed when I ditched you back in the day!”“The past is behind us, let's look towards the future.” Tim joked, as he didn’t think much of her judgy attitude. Everyone was frankly happy to be alive, but their worries hadn't become any smaller, as they were still trapped here. They'd rather find a way out of here instead of wasting time bickering, because it wasn’t either normal or safe to be between such great walls of ice for long. They had to move.Timothy only had a c
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 114 - Freed Dragon
The trapped dragon was now more excited, because the dripping water gave him a couple of advantages. For a start, it gave him just a bit more air to breathe in, and this itself was a great thing to be excited about, so it wasn’t a surprise that his brain activity was going up now, he just avoided death by a ball-hair here. The second advantage was far greater in comparison! Since the water had an exit point, he could melt more of the ice around him now, and not drown himself in the process either. This way, he would be free a lot quicker! The dragon started blowing tiny amounts of fire against the ice that had entrapped it, he got into work right away. This tiny amount of fire may not free him immediately, but he did not want to scare the goblins that were helping him, as that would be a really stupid thing to do.“He’s pretty smart, Skendus, smarter than you said he is.” Tim pointed out.“Maybe I misread his brain? Sometimes, a dying brain is difficult to tell apart from a dumb brain

“Well that sucks, we dug it out for nothing.” Ortana sighed. “We? I did all the work.” Arvena corrected.Either way, it didn't seem like they were to progress anytime soon. The dragon was even wedged between the ice walls, so it wasn’t like he could move away from the other dragon carcasses anyway. The team was as stuck as they were before, but now they also had a dragon to care for, they were pissed. “Maybe we can do something here,” Skendus initiated, “If the dead dragons make it feel weak, then we just need to help it crawl away from here. We can only try, because I don’t see another way out for us.”“That could take hours, and besides, how do we know that there aren't dead dragons on every turn?” Arvena countered.“Me and Tim will scout the area,” He answered, and then he looked at Tim. “It’s time we put our Atomic Shifting into use, eh? Only this time we won't use it to try and flee, we're getting our friends out of here.”There was no reason to refuse his plan, especially sinc
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 116 - Georgie, the baby
Since they both discovered where those frozen human remains were, it would make sense if only one of them led them to the spot. Skendus led the way, because this arrangement would be more efficient if he led, and Ortana joined him to keep him company. Tim was to stay last in line, just to keep the dragon warm, since he too could summon fire of many volumes. He knew enough not to burn the dragon by accident, and he was happy with this arrangement, because he was light enough to ride on the dragon's back as well! A bunch of his childhood fantasies were fulfilled just like that, he was really happy.Arvena cleared a path for Georgie the dragon to walk on, that was her main job. If they were to make it to their destination, they needed a six foot wide path in front of them, and neither the dragon or Timothy were in a good enough state to carve a path, they couldn't. Arvena was their best hope in this matter, they had to follow her lead. This procedure may take a while, because it takes a

Chapter 372 - Pure lava
Garry was led to the burrow of the groundhog he befriended. The burrow was close by, several meters away, and it didn’t quite look appealing from the outside, which was expected, as the burrow only had a couple of holes that they considered entrances.Well, one entrance was a fake one. It led nowhere, and it was used to keep predators busy, such as foxes. The other entrance led to the deep interior of the burrow, and quite frankly, Garry was astounded when he squeezed into it. This was no mere home with weak, dirt walls to hold it up, no, as everything within the burrow was enhanced by a six-inch layer of carved stone! The stone walls within the burrow weren’t placed randomly. They weren’t bumpy, but rather, they were smooth, and had these rows of symbolic words carved into it with a language that he could not understand. Nevertheless, he was impressed.“Woa…” Garry sighed, as he looked at the walls around him.“Why are you loafing about here?” The guiding groundhog asked. “This is o
Chapter 371 - AAAAA!!
As of recently, Garry was at the pinnacle of his life! He became an Arch Mage at a fairly young age, young for a demonic basilisk, at least, and ever since he got to this rank, he had eased up on a lot of his beliefs or principles, and was just enjoying his life.In hindsight, he didn’t care much to progress into the following rank, which was that of an Arch Magus. He figured that such a title was years away from him, if not decades, so he simply didn't think about it much. He wasn't worried that he stumbled into another mana bracket as soon as got to the third level of the seventh realm of mana. He was okay with it.Initially, one of the main reasons he chose to stay in this universe rather than going back to the universe of hell, was because he wanted to help Timothy, his former summoning master, progress. He felt indebted to help Timothy, because he had saved him from deadly wounds back in those old ruins, so he chose to stay. However, he couldn’t help Timothy progress all that muc
Chapter 370 - Dark Moon
“Freedom… it outweighs everything in the world, be it mana or gold.” She thought, as she breathed in the crisp air at the crack of dawn.Fortana was up in the sky, along with her dragon, and she was now about forty-kilometers away from the City of Fik. She decided to leave the city for a short while, for two reasons.Firstly, she and her team were stuck in the city for an undetermined amount of time. Timothy said that they’d be stuck in the City of Fik for around a month, but she figured that they’d be stuck there for several months, and she could not remain stationary for that long. She spent most of her life stuck in the Dungeons of the Old, and now that she had gotten a taste for freedom, she could simply not remain in one place for long, otherwise she would either sink into depression, or suffer through wave after wave of anxiety. She didn’t like it.The second reason why she left the city was primarily related to her self-absorbed need to improve her arsenal. Most Expert Mages ha
Chapter 369 - Bored
The eight-hundred Expert Mages that joined the frontline were quite capable. They were very useful on the count that Timothy and his team spent a few hours nudging them in the right direction, and once they got a hang of what to do, there was no stopping them!Ten more shapeshifted Ancient Sea Orcs had tried to attack the city before sunset, and the Expert Mages, otherwise known as the city's soldiers, had killed them all! They killed them without losing a single man or woman in the exchange of attacks. They discovered that the giant orcs had this odd ability to toss exploding fireballs around almost randomly, but they worked around it. Ten mages shot fireballs at the giants to overwhelm them, essentially blind them, and then twenty mages snuck below the line of fire, and froze the giants solid! This method worked like a charm, and Timothy had helped them develop it, so the mages didn't lose arms and legs during their many fights. The dark giants helped them. Fortana insisted for the
Chapter 368 - 800 Expert Mages
Timothy needed about ten minutes to explain to Cornelius everything that had happened over the past hour. It was quite difficult to explain such a complex matter to a man that did not care, but he got through to him eventually. At the end, Cornelius bluntly added, “I understand. You accidentally killed what, like five-hundred soldiers? It happens.”Furthermore, he added, “But if you want to mask your mistake properly, you best add a couple more frozen giants. You can sell your story easier to the city officials if you say that five giants went neck to neck with the city’s best mages.”“Right,” Tim nodded, and then he communicated with Fortana telepathically, and got the tip across to her, even though she was forty meters away. “Add two more frozen giants. It’ll be more believable.”While Fortana got into work, he turned to Cornelius, and asked, “You don’t care about this city at all, do you? Genuine question. Are you only loyal to yourself?”“I’m only loyal to my pool progression, an
Chapter 367 - Ablutions
“What the hell was that! Aren’t your giants supposed to be under your control?” Tim pressured.Rattled, Fortana answered, “They are under my control. However, if hundreds of people charge at them, they’re gonna defend themselves no matter what I say. Those stupid bastards dug their own grave.”“We have a big problem here,” He said. “Anyone who can put two and two together will think that we killed the soldiers. We cannot afford to be banished from the city.”Fortana was aware of that, and for a moment she felt helpless, however she then came up with an idea that sounded plausible. She swiftly created a giant, one that looked a lot like the Ancient Sea Orcs that they’ve been killing, but she avoided giving life to the giant, and just froze it in place.Afterwards she created two more of these replicas, and placed all of them in front of the soldiers along with the first, frozen giant. By all means, she was trying to fake a battle scene.“There you go,” She said. “The sea orcs froze the
Chapter 366 - 10 Dark Giants x 700 Humans
The barricade of ice that Timothy had created was holding strong. Now the barricade wasn’t much taller than the sea itself, but it was dense, it reached almost at the bottom of the ocean for the most part, so it was a great tool in terms of keeping the Ancient Sea Orcs away. The ice barricade may even last several days, on the count that the temperature around, and within the ice was quite low. The mild summer rays would need days to melt through it.Anyway, Timothy had hoped that the system would inform him that he had successfully killed one of these sea orcs, through the barricade alone. He was hoping that he had frozen one of them solid, but this did not appear to be the case.By all odds, any of the remaining sea orcs who originally planned to walk their way out of the sea, were scared off as soon as the temperature of the water around them dropped significantly. When Timothy thought about the matter this way, he further confirmed his theory that the creatures he was dealing wit
Chapter 365 - Hydro, tainting
Timothy initially wanted to take the battle to the sea, and kill every last Ancient Sea Orc out there. That was his idea this morning, however, they had barely thought about what they would do if the sea orcs brought the battle up here beyond the shores! It was normal that they hadn’t thought about it, because in a normal situation, sea creatures shouldn't walk. It wasn’t natural. Timothy was dumbfounded, however, he also understood that it was imperative that he and the team stayed here, in front of the beach, so as to prevent any remaining sea orc from attacking the City of Fik. They had to stay, until backup arrived.Today, the city had proved themselves utterly unprepared when it came to managing a disaster. It was evident, so the team couldn’t, in good conscience, leave their spot until a bunch of soldiers arrived here on the beach, and manned the frontline. “Don't be discouraged, guys.” Tim tried to motivate his team. “Remember all the gold we're gonna make. At the very least,
Chapter 364 - Timothy Tentacles
The team killed a shapeshifted Ancient Sea Orc a moment ago, and they were proud of it, as the battle had been swift, and their moves were effective. However, they did not expect to see four more of these giant monsters pop out of the sea! They were petrified.“Dragons, cover fire!” Timothy yelled out again. The dragons understood what those words meant now, so they didn’t have to be taught as much this time around in order for them to contribute. They started blasting fireballs towards the giants, and even though it was more difficult to push all four of them away, the contribution the dragons were putting into the battle was worthwhile! If not anything more, it served as a great distraction. Timothy then gathered his team of goblins, and the two giants that were also on his team, them being Garry and Gustav, and then they rushed into battle! The giants were less than forty meters away from them, and they wanted to take control of the situation before these monsters got the chance t
