I'm a Stingray? Chapter 317 - Garry's midnight walk
Garry the Kelketuk walked across the flat lands that were attached to the coastline. He was curious to see what this planet held, or what his close surroundings held, so he walked through the land in the middle of the night, and was hoping to see anything interesting. He was bored, above all things, but the good thing out of exploring a foreign planet that also had oxygen, was that even something as simple as grass was interesting for him to observe.Out in the distance, he could see a set of mountains, possibly hundreds of kilometers away. It was night, though, so despite having a good eyesight that also allowed him to see in the dark, he couldn’t make out many details when he looked at those mountains. They just look like big, dark clumps.“They’re taller than ah expected thaim tae be. O' coorse, they’re nae nearly as lanky as th' ones oan mah planet.“ He thought.Garry sat on the ground after a while, and as he pulled out one grass blade after the other, holding them and squishing
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 318 - Leveling up some cavemen
Garry had completely overpowered the few cavemen that were in front of him. Likewise, he was able to squeeze every answer that he wanted out of them, and they were lucky that he didn’t even want to hurt them. He was just curious to know how less intelligent humanoids lived their life around here, and he wanted to understand the scale of magic that they practiced. Finally, one of them answered him, and said, “We use fire, but not burns hot.”With that statement alone, he then knew for sure that these cavemen were within the first realm of mana, likely even in the lowest level there was! One couldn’t cultivate their mana pool if they barely understood magic, so their utter lack of advancement in the arcane arts was understandable. There were only rare instances where literal fire didn’t burn enough, and that was if the caster was within the first level of the first realm. Odds were that these cavemen weren’t even suffering through mana brackets, but instead, they just didn’t know the r
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 319 - "Join me in Mundi"
Lena was the second last member to join Timothy's group, and she was quite happy to join it. She could be with the young man that she had developed a liking for, and as a bonus, she could explore the world more than she had been initially capable of doing with her vulnerable, frog body. The last few weeks had treated her well, however, the fact of the matter remained that her mana pool was quite weak! She had spent years developing her phantom mana pool, and that one was quite strong, but it didn't transfer well over to her new situation. Lena was at level three in the God's Punishment realm of mana, otherwise known as the first realm, so she was a fairly weak mage. The weakest in the group, no doubt.Over the weeks, she had accumulated enough mana to try and upgrade her mana pool, but Timothy didn’t let her. He advised against it.In the early stages of his life on this planet, he had struggled through the first realm severely! His earliest friends, such as Ortana and Skendus had su
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 320 - Lena's first Flash Upgrade
Once Timothy and Lena made it to Purpureus Mundi, he showed her around in the castle, and introduced her to its various sections. Interestingly enough, in a literal castle that every man and woman would wish to own, its most interesting feature was not the large dinning hall, its thick walls, its beautiful four towers, its several bedrooms, or even its beautiful crimson surroundings, but instead, it was the basement! The basement had an alchemy lab of its own, and Lena absolutely fell in love with it as soon as she saw it! This lab wasn't the kind that she was used to in the ghost world, but that was what made it even more interesting! She was willing to pursue the craft of physical alchemy, and in a universe with hundreds of unique plant and herb species at her disposal, she could start the craft under the best circumstances that she could imagine!“I love it!” She shrieked. “Obviously you didn't prepare this lab for me, but it's still a great gift if you're gonna let me use it!”“Of
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 321 - Mana, yet again dense and iron-like!
Lena experienced her first flash upgrade today, and she was beyond excited! She felt spoiled, and rightfully so, because her mana quality progression was basically railroaded by a guy who was a lot stronger than her, had plenty to offer, and cared enough about her to help her progress! Most mages did not have such privileges, they certainly did not. Some progressed through magic schools, some progressed as groups without much of a hierarchy to help them, but overall, it was quite difficult to reach the higher realms of mana. It was a known fact that the few mages who had become Expert Mages or more, liked to hold on to their secrets, so there truly was no easy way for every single mage to progress!Bottom-line, Lena reaped the benefits that most could not. Plenty of mages were not even aware that flash upgrades even existed, but she was experiencing it first hand today, under very accommodating circumstances! This was the absolute happiest a person could be while being locked in a dun
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 322 - The warning of the Blue Orclets
Georgie the dragon, and his seven dragonfly companions have been lurking around the reef for a day now. They were very excited to see their goblin friends again, and had not separated from them ever since the reunion. The dragons followed Timothy and his friends everywhere, and no one really minded this. At first they could barely recognize the dragons, but Timothy explained that he had given them the ability to shapeshift, which was why they looked like tiny abominations of a Sea Orc variant, otherwise known as Blue Orclets. After that point they got along quite well, and were doing most tasks with the dragons looking over their shoulders. Once Timothy snuck off into Purpureous Mundi along with Lena, the dragons then put all of their attention to Arvena, for a reason that was simple enough to understand. Georgie was attached to Arvena, they had been attached for months now ever since they saved each other's lives from that surprise blizzard back in Valporovus. Anyway, since Georgie
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 323 - Luminous Terror Jellyfish!
Lena and the dragons got closer to the giant monster, for the sake of observing it. She hoped to figure out how strong the monster was, and she was hoping that it was a weak one, so she could try and kill it herself. The monster was heading towards the reef, so she made peace with the fact that she had no other choice but to kill it, or at least attack it in order to force it to change its course. She instinctively considered this task as her responsibility, and wanted to act accordingly. However, despite what she hoped, she quickly figured out that the monster was not weak. She didn't clash with it or anything like that, no, but she got close enough to attempt and scan the monster's mana pool, but she failed. She could not scan its mana pool, or in other words, its mana quality, and this could only mean that its pool was far greater than hers!“Damn it!” She cussed. “That’s a monster, alright! Even its pool is monstrous.”Arvena could not accurately guess how much stronger the monst
I'm a Stingray? Chapter 324 - Bringer of Ice Ages
Genta, and the rest of the reef had quite a predicament on their hands. They had believed that the reef had been well-equipped to deal with trouble, on the count that even small fish such as sardines were armed with the ability to shoot fireballs, however, their preparations didn’t account to deal with a giant, two-hundred meter wide monster, who also happened to be an Arch Mage!No one would’ve expected such a problem, nonetheless prepare for it, so their best option was to gather up the strongest mages they had, and then at least try to fight the monster that approached them. Genta had to be very strategic about what was to come, specifically, she had to lead most of the mages on what they were supposed to believe. With little effort, she grabbed the fifty Coral Destroyers who were supposed to be protecting the mana root farm, and brought them to the front edge of the reef. Each and every one of these coral-skinned people were Adept Mages, they were not beginners by any means, and

Chapter 344 - The distribution of the Mana Roots
Timothy and the team were finished harvesting the mana roots. Individually, they got every benefit that they could get out of this farm, and despite the fact that the level of each team member was all over the place, creating a sort of unbalanced arsenal between them, they still were very pleased with the results!Neither of them knew where Genta was, or had gone to, and judging from the context of her disappearance, it didn’t look like she was coming back anytime soon, or ever. The best theory was that she had somehow traveled forwards in time, because her original timeline was several thousand years into the future, but although that theory sounded plausible, the fact remained that time travel was unheard of in the magical world. Even Garry, who was a literal Arch Mage himself now, was oblivious of such a thing as traveling forward in time!Sure Timothy could manipulate time to some degree, but he had a portal. He could manipulate time only under certain settings, through the portal
Chapter 343 - Fortana, the Dragon Slayer
Fortana was the last to rise from the farm of mana roots. She had taken longer than everyone else to level up, which was a bit understandable on the count that most of her mana pool consisted of dark mana, but her friends were still concerned. They braced themselves, and fully expected that Fortana would find some random reason to attack them! At the very least, she was likely strong enough now to not depend on anyone else anymore. Once she rose out of the farm, her long blonde hair followed suit, waving across the waters. To their surprise, she seemed quite calm, she wasn’t hostile, but her calm composure was almost like a trick, because moments later, she did something weird.Somehow, she created a small squid within seconds, and then destroyed the squid moments later. She didn’t just kill it, she disintegrated it, and the only thing that was left behind was the squid’s ink. She then poked her head into the free-floating ink, waved it, and in turn, a bunch of the black ink went int
Chapter 342 - "I did this thing"
Amongst the three mages that were still harvesting the roots of the farm, Gustav was the first one to stand. Ortana, and Fortana remained in the farm, and were still harvesting every drop of mana that they could get.It was concerning that the two of them were still harvesting mana, but the rest of the team couldn’t do anything about it. It was best not to interrupt them, and if they somehow died while harvesting, then they would die in the best way possible. The euphoria that any mage would feel here, in this farm, topped the euphoria that any other type of death could cause! At some point, everyone expected that Fortana and Ortana would die today, and they started believing this after every other minute that passed without these couple of ladies rising from below the roots. Everyone waited in anticipation, but when Gustav arose, he managed to distract the rest of the group quite thoroughly!“How are ya, Guss?” Tim asked, as he noticed that his friend had this crazy look in his eye.
Chapter 341 - 5-5-6-7
Genta disappeared. The reason behind her disappearance was difficult to figure out, but for now, no one in the team really cared to know. They were all busy reaping the benefits of the great amount of roots that she had left behind, and Genta had spent most of her time here yelling at everyone anyway, so no one really cared if she never came back. She was a great stepping-stone for everyone’s progress today, and so they were to remember her as a great old mage whose mere willpower alone changed several, or potentially tens of lives for the better good. However, they’d also be happy to never see her again. Soon enough, Garry was done leveling up, so he stood up and swam away from the farm. He sat close to Arvena, and tried to balance the sheer amount of great, euphoric emotions that the roots gave him.“At whit realm did ye git to?" He asked.“The sixth one,” She answered.Impressed, he said, “Och sae you’re a stoatin, Expert Mage noo huh? That’s gey crakin'!”Arvena nodded in respons
Chapter 340 - Genta's disappearance
The farm of eight-hundred mana roots bore benefits that a handful of mages could not fully harvest by themselves. The roots were fullgrown, they were adult roots, so the amount of mana they bore each was within the millions, so they wouldn't even be able to harvest them even if they were all Arch Mages!Odds were that a mana bracket would hit them ages before they could harvest the roots. Genta had planted many of them, because she had expected to harvest them once they were just a few months old, where the yield would have been about ten times less, if not lower. She didn't account for a giant jellyfish to come and boost the roots into later adulthood, though, she wasn’t complaining either, because now they didn’t have to be savvy with the roots. The mana roots were so big that they had intertwined with one another. Their thick, three-foot wide arms slithered across the farm, and at this point the farm even looked like a labyrinth that had no beginning or end! It was difficult to eve
Chapter 339 - The Yield
The team had eight-hundred full grown Mana Roots at their disposal. It was time to harvest the fruit of their labor, and it so happens that their labor included immense battles and worldwide travel, so the rewards that they were about to reap seemed all the more meritable! However, they were also aware that eight-hundred roots were too much for them to harvest all together, as the roots outnumbered them around ninety to one! They couldn’t harvest the entire farm even if they tried, so after chatting with Genta for a little bit, they came to the agreement to let the goblins, Coral Destroyers, and basically every other species who had helped form, or protect this farm one way or the other to have a slice of this goodness! It was only fair, as by all odds, the nine of them wouldn't be able to harvest even half of the roots, nonetheless all of it.Anyway, In order to avoid messing with each other's mana intake, the group spread apart from each other, laid in the comfortable, sandy ground
Chapter 338 - Garry's banter
After Timothy and his friends sat down with each other, he caught up with what had happened to them. They were caught by surprise by two waves of attacks, and hadn't been able to fight back properly.Timothy was beyond surprised that even a two-headed demonic dragon hadn't been able to help them, but then he remembered that serpentine creatures of any sort were difficult to deal with. They were tough, and more often than not, the average fireball wasn't enough to kill them. A good example was that he hated Sea Orcs for the very same reason!Sea Orcs may not be one-hundred feet long like those three amphipteres that he just killed, but they were widder, bulkier. He would need to use a very specific combination of his abilities in order to kill them, and the fact of the matter was that he hadn't even killed a Sea Orc yet, despite the fact that he had run into a few of them in the past. With all of that considered, he decided to go easy on his friends. He didn’t tease them as much after
Chapter 337 - "Let me unseal your butt-cheeks!"
Timothy found the rest of the team, two kilometers away from the beach. Essentially, he saved them from the grave danger that those Arctic Amphipteres posed, or at the very least, he saved Skendus from essentially being eaten alive. The amphipteres had caught up with the team a moment ago, and they would have only needed to pick up on the team’s scent, in order to emerge out of the water and finish what they started. The monsters met their match. Timothy even stopped them from heading towards the reef, and due to this fact alone, he had prevented a massive battle that could’ve erupted back home, if he hadn’t ran into the monsters here! He saved more than one life today, that was for sure.Anyway, he noticed that Skendus wasn't in top form right now. A short conversation with him helped confirm that he wasn’t healthy, and that there was something wrong with his brain.“They bit my noggin,” Skendus said.Confused, Timothy rubbed his giant mole of a friend's head, and said, “Well, I don'
Chapter 336 - Timothy Back-breaker!
Gustav, Skendus, Ortana and Fortana made their way along the coastline. They walked west, because the reef was in that direction, so they knew they’d be a lot safer soon, under the protection of their many friends and allies. The battle that they had gone through today was traumatizing, and they were still feeling the cold despite being more than a kilometer away from the battle scene, so this was a day that they weren’t going to forget anytime soon. They were happy that they survived, but the humiliation they felt grew stronger after every other minute. Most of them had dealt with dragons before, in fact they’ve fought dragons that were a lot deadlier, such as Iron-Claw the Wicked, but they had not suffered such humiliation. When they remembered that those three amphipteres tried to kill them in the most simple way possible, solely depending on instincts rather than any advanced combination of magical know-how, they felt even more embarrassed.Gustav even wanted revenge, but he was
