Eddie had left them almost immediately: as soon as he got off the ship he went to look for a means to return to his city, where his mother apparently was waiting for him. He also claimed to have experienced enough thrills during that time and on top of that the day before he landed he had a bizarre dream in which two tyrannosaurs smashed into his car and devoured him alive, so he had decided to 'stay away from any zoo or wildlife reserve for a while'. Strangely, in his dream, the tyrannosaurs had decidedly more monstrous features than the real ones, as they were devoid of feathers and with protruding teeth.
