Shamelessness

Laura sat on one of the chairs in her office inside the boutique. Lately, the boutique had been empty of customers. Some of her employees were busy tidying up items that no one was interested in buying. Since the death of Vivian, who was poisoned by Laura and Charlie, the boutique had been deserted.

At first, before the case, Laura's boutique was very busy.

"Because of the case, my business is quiet. Is my mistake really that hard to forgive and hard for them to accept?" Laura muttered to herself.

"Nola Laura," called one of the employees at the boutique.

"Yes, what's wrong?" said Laura.

"How is it, Miss Laura. It's been a month since the case and our boutique has been quiet," the woman said to Laura.

"Well... The rumors about the case spread quickly. Maybe people are afraid to come here," Laura replied casually.

Laura let out a long sigh, even though she tried to relax it still stressed her out.
