Romeo's body lay sprawled on the canvas, battered and bruised from the relentless assault he endured.

"You bastard," Romeo rasped, as his voice was laced with defiance despite the agony coursing through him. "You should have let me beat up that motherfucker before you gave me that cowardly assault. You are pathetic."

The referee's response was chillingly calm, devoid of remorse or empathy. "Well, I guess you just said your last words."

As the referee's words echoed through the air, a subtle shift caught his attention—a glint of light dancing across his vision, like a fleeting specter.

Instinctively, his gaze darted upward, tracing the path of the elusive shimmer until it settled upon a pinpoint of crimson intensity, its ominous glow was fixated squarely on his forehead.
