The aftermath of the battle with Axton left a heavy silence in the old factory. Dexter stood amidst the scattered remnants of shadowy figures, their forms dissipating into the air as the light from the Seal flickered and glowed in his hand. He could still feel the remnants of the battle—adrenaline coursing through him, the echoes of clashes ringing in his ears. The team gathered around, breathing heavily as they took in the destruction and the relief of having vanquished the warlord.

“We did it,” Helix said, a mix of disbelief and triumph in his voice. “We actually did it.”

Raven knelt beside the fading shadows, her expression contemplative. “But at what cost? Axton was just one player in a much larger game. We’ve taken out the head, but the body will still fight back.”

Orion, surveying the remnants of the confrontation, nodded. “We need to be vigilant. His followers will be scattered, but they won’t be gone for long. They’ll regroup and find another leader.”
