The night air was thick with tension as Dexter, Charlotte, and Henry made their way through the deserted streets. They hadn’t encountered any more Syndicate members since their narrow escape from the ruins, but Dexter could feel the weight of danger pressing down on them.

As they reached Dexter’s apartment, he glanced at his friends. “We need to discuss our next move and make sure we’re prepared for anything that comes next,” he said, his voice steady.
