The Meal

After eating, lushly escort the two to a gateway and soon they make their way out of the forest in no time.

"I cannot believe we are out of the forest. Am so glad." Alice said with joy on her face.

"Yeah me too. So let us go so we can prepare the meal we talked about."

"Ohh. yeah. it is true." Alice said as they started walking.

"But first we need to go to the market to get something so we can prepare the meal."

"Ohh no I do not have any money with me. How do we do that?

"Hmm me too. Okay fine, fine let us go so you can get the money.

"Okay Rebecca."

Alice got home and was extremely happy that her husband is not home yet.

"Hey Alice, is Thomas home yet?"

"Not at all. But I guess he should be close so we better hurry up to the market because if he comes back to meet me here he won't let me out of his sight."

"Haha I know right? Alright let us go, I have got the money."

The two walk hand in hand to the market as people begin to know them as best friends. Because they were seen almost everywhere together.

"So Rebecca here we are, what should we be getting first?"

"Come with me." Rebecca pulls Alice by the hand as she drags her to a meat seller. "This we will need first. It's so fresh."

"Hi sorry what beef meat is this?"

"It's a pig." He said.

"Nice exactly what I needed." Rebecca said, clapping her hands together.

"So we are getting the meat then. Sir please give me two big parts of it."

"It cost 50 cents." He said.

"What? That is a lot."

"Do not worry about it dear. Sir please get it ready." Alice said as she smiled at Rebecca.

"Are you sure about that?" Rebecca asked with a questioning look.

"It is Rebecca, it is all worth it."

"Okay Alice if you say so."

They collected the meat and went straight to the vegetable seller, where they bought some vegetables, after that they went back home to prepare the meal. Luckily for them, they got home before Thomas and they started cooking the sweet delicacy Alice ate in the mansion when Thomas walked in.

"Hey dear. What are you doing? You should not be here, you should be resting, not cooking." He said with a serious gaze. "Sorry I came home late, I guess you must be bored, ohh Rebecca is here."

"Hi Mr Thomas. It is nice to see you again." Rebecca greeted as Alice walked towards her husband to give him a welcoming hug.

"Am better now honey I just want to make something nice for you. And you are not late, you are just in time." Alice said, replying to her husband's questions as she hugs him.

"Are you sure?

"Yes honey. go shower and change your clothes, then come out to eat, we are almost done."

"Alright honey." he said as he planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Hehehe. Uhmm Alice I have to get going right now, and sorry I would not be joining you guys." Rebecca said as she walked towards the front door.

"Huh? Why is that? We are almost done with the cooking you have to stay and eat."

"Yes Mrs Rebecca you have to stay and have dinner with us." Thomas added.

"Am really sorry I have to pass on this, well you guys should enjoy the dinner. And Mr Thomas I assure you that you will enjoy the food, it is out of this world." Rebecca said, smiling.

"Alright now, I will be on my way and have a lovely evening. Rebecca said as she winked to Alice, and went outside, closing the door behind her.

"Hmmm it is sad that she is not joining us for dinner. Well it is fine at least I have my wife all to myself alone." Thomas said as he placed his hands around Alice's waist.

"Hahaha ohh Thomas dear come on go shower and come eat dinner, then after eating I will give you just exactly what you need." She said as she placed her hands on his shoulders.

"Ohh really? Well I can not wait." He said as kissed Alice.

"Hmmm then go get ready so we can start eating." She replied, breaking the kiss.

"Alright then I will go." He said freeing her from his hold and turning his back as she pushed him gently on the shoulder.

"Okay dear, do not take too long." She said as watched him head towards the room and she smiled as she shook her head and went to get the food from the kitchen to the table.

Few minutes Alice was done with everything she smiled looking at the food on the table. 'it is today Thomas.' she said to herself smiling.

"Hey dear, I am all done." Thomas said as he kissed her on the cheek and took his seat.

"I can see that. She smiled at him. " Are you ready to taste something different today?"

"Of course I am always ready for everything my darling wife has for me." He said, placing his hand on Alice's hand and staring straight into her eyes.

"Ouch such a sweet man I almost cried." Alice jokingly said with her other hand on her chest.

"Hahaha alright let us see what we have here." Thomas said as he spooned the food and devoured it. Alice waited to see the reaction on his face as he chewed on the food.

"So? How does it taste?" Alice asked in curiosity.

"Hmmm this is amazing honey." He said with a mouth full of food. "How did you get to know about this delicious meal? And how come you have not been making this all this time?" He asked as he enjoyed the food, almost emptying his plate in a short span of time.

"Haha it is a secret, I would not tell Just enjoy your food my sweet heart." She said as she started eating too.

"Ohhh really? I know how to get you into telling me this secret of yours."

"How do you plan on doing that?" She asked, with a daring face.

"Just wait a minute, I have to empty this plate." He said rushing the food on the plate.

"Hahaha slow down Thomas so you do not choke on your food."

"Do not worry I would not. He said picking up the water on the table to drink. "So where were we?" He asked standing up from his seat while holding Alice's hands to help her stand up as well.

"Hmmm you were about to get me into telling you my little secret." She answered by placing her hands on his shoulders.

"Ahhhh yes about that, so why not we go inside the room so I can do that." He said lifting her up from the ground.

"Hahaha ohh Thomas stop that, put me down." She said laughing as Thomas lifted her up, and heading towards the room with her.

Thomas placed her on the bed as he was on top of her and she stared deep into his eyes that were filled with love and affection she smiled at him.

"Hey see? I dropped you carefully."

"Hahaha yes you did. on the bed right?"

"Haha yes so let us get into it right away. So are you ready to tell me about this secret of yours? Or you want me to get this secret out of you?"

"Hmmm I think I will go with the last one."

"Ohhh I see. So you are not scared of what I might do to you?"

"Of course not I know my darling husband won't hurt me or would you?"

"Why will I hurt the love of my life huh?"

The two jokingly talk with each other on the bed for a while.

"So should I get into it right away?"

"Not yet let me get the plates off the table. I will be back, fully ready." She said kissing him and Thomas got off her so she could get up from the bed.

"Alright then I will be fully waiting for you my love. Thomas said as he watched her step out of the room.
