Avi sat on the living room floor of the Malhotra mansion, playing half-heartedly with her toys. The opulence of the room, with its grand chandeliers and luxurious furniture, couldn't lift the shadow of sadness that had settled over her. Her mother, Anjali, watched her daughter with concern, noting how Avi seemed to move through her days with a heavy heart. Even though Avi was with her parents now, the bond she had formed with Saarayu was deeply missed.

"Avi, sweetheart, why don't you come and help me bake some cookies?" Anjali suggested, trying to cheer her up.
