Chapter 73

The afternoon sun cast playful patterns on the living room floor as Saarayu knelt before a mountain of colorful building blocks. Across from her, Avi, a whirlwind of energy in a pink tutu, giggled with delight, meticulously stacking blocks into a precarious tower.

"Careful, little architect," Saarayu teased, her voice laced with amusement. "Don't want the whole city to come tumbling down!"

Avi, her tongue peeking out in concentration, ignored the warning, adding another block with a triumphant squeal. Just as Saarayu predicted, the tower wobbled precariously before collapsing in a joyous heap. Far from being discouraged, Avi burst into infectious laughter, clapping her chubby hands.

Saarayu chuckled, scooping Avi into a hug. "Alright, alright," she conceded. "Looks like we need a more stable design. How about a bridge this time? Daddy would be proud of you, building bridges just like he does in his research."
