"First of all, we have successfully escaped from the green river and no longer need to fear for our lives for the time being."
Clover perked up as he listened to Trudy's words. Her first sentence brought a smile to Clover's lips.
reacting quickly, Clover said to Trudy, "That is great news Trudy... how were you able to manage it without me?"
Clover was curious and hasty to know how Trudy had managed to get them out of that dangerous situation despite him falling unconscious and their ship being unable to scan their environment.
In response to Clover's question, Trudy answered, "Unfortunately, sir, I will have to disappoint you. I am sorry to say that I had no hand in getting us out of that dangerous situation."
"What!!" Clover was surprised...
He didn't expect to hear that from Trudy at all.
