Ch.7 - Ask For Permission

It has been almost 3 months since Han Feng reincarnated into this world of cultivators, he felt bored being in the Han Family residence all the time.

He wanted to go out to see what this world of cultivators was like. Han Feng's knowledge of this world was limited to what was in this Black Rock City, he had never gone out of the city at all.

But before he went out, of course he had to ask his father's permission and make preparations.

Currently Han Feng is having dinner with his father.

A few minutes passed, Han Feng looked at his father. Realizing this, Han Xiang put down the spoon, stopped eating and then returned his son's gaze.

“Is there a problem, Han Feng?” Han Xiang asked.

“Actually.. I want to tell dad something.”

“Oh, what is it?” Han Xiang raised her eyebrows, wondering what her son wanted to say, as this was very unusual.

Han Feng seemed to hesitate for a moment before his face filled with determination “I want to go out to wander!”

Han Feng said firmly, he thought it was unlikely that his father would allow him to go out.

Han Xiang sighed and said, “Han Feng, do you know that the outside world is very dangerous? Death lurks wherever you go, there is no such thing as 100% safety! Right now your strength is still too weak to travel in the outside world!”

Although Han Xiang did not directly say that he did not allow Han Feng, it was clear from his words that Han Xiang rejected his son's idea.

Han Feng smiled wryly, he had expected his father to refuse immediately. But he would not give up so easily.

“Father, I know I am weak and the outside world is very dangerous! But that is what I want, if I continue to stay here like a bird in a cage then I will never grow further! I have been training with all my might all this time, trying to cultivate even though there are no results! So maybe I should wander the outside world to train myself and gain experience to become stronger even though I have no cultivation!”

Han Feng said with a determined expression, there was no hesitation in his words, obviously full of determination.

Han Xiang sighed again seeing her son's expression, she understood that Han Feng had been feeling depressed because he couldn't cultivate.

Although Han Xiang did not want Han Feng to go out into the world because of his disability, she also did not want her son to continue to be under pressure, after all, Han Feng was a man, so it was impossible for her to continue to restrain Han Feng like a little princess who had to be looked after all the time.

“Okay, dad allows you!” Han Xiang finally agreed to Han Feng’s wishes.

Han Feng's face brightened, he didn't expect his father to agree with just a few sentences.

Even though he had prepared many more reasons for Han Xiang to give permission, it turned out that it was not necessary.

“Thank you, father! I will definitely work hard to continue to grow stronger!” Han Feng said.

Han Xiang nodded her head “But you have to remember, in the outside world you have to be careful! Not everyone can be your opponent, sometimes even if that person is weaker than you you still can’t just offend him!..

As the saying goes, before you hit a dog, you must first know who its master is!”

“I understand father, I will never act recklessly!” Han Feng nodded.

“Then when do you plan to leave?” Han Xiang asked.

“One more week, after preparing everything I will leave immediately!” Han Feng replied.

“Prepare yourself, okay? There are many swords and spears in the warehouse, you can use them, and do you have money?”

“Of course. Because I can’t cultivate, the money the Family gave me I never used.”

Every young generation in the Han Family will be given monthly money. The currency in this world is bronze, silver and gold.

Bronze was the lowest value currency, followed by silver which had a value of 100 times that of bronze coins, and the same goes for gold.

“Oh, I thought you gave all your pocket money to Han Zhu and the others.” Han Xiang knew that her son was often bullied by Han Zhu and his friends.

But he just let it be, not because he didn't care, but because of family rules that forbade interfering in the problems of the younger generation, unless it had gone beyond the limit.

“Of course not, I saved everything, even though I don’t have much money because I’m just a disabled young generation.”

The more talented the younger generation, the more monthly money they were given. While Han Feng, who was a cripple who could not cultivate, received the least monthly money.

Well, at least he was still given, even though he didn't win much.
