In Game: Survive or Be Killed

5: SIBLINGS

Ashtria was shock when she knew who’s the guy that the men kicking and punching like a punching bag. That guy was the one he saw yesterday trying to find something. 

"That's why you're just letting us hurt you so that your friend can have time in our room and get some silver!?" said a large man and whipped the two. The two screamed in pain, their bodies and faces bleeding because of the wound.

There are three men that hurting and whipping their arms and back. They were both crying in pain, Ashtria saw the guy’s eyes wanted to hurt them too but the guy just controlling himself not to move even a little. 

"Poor thing, shall I help?" Ashtria asked herself while keep on watching them. "Maybe not," she added and started to walk away. 

After Ashtria take a step, she heard the man saying that he will just kill them both. She took a glance quickly on them and saw those two lying on the ground, she just deeply sighed and touch her forehead. Before could the man slide it's sword towards the two people lying on the ground, she suddenly run and kick the sword that the man’s holding. 

"What the f**k? Who are you kid!? how dare you to interrupt us!?" the other man shouted while looking at her with intense eyes. He suddenly ran towards Ashtria holding the dagger and tried to stab her but she avoided it quickly and kick his side two times that made him throw away. 

Ashtria quickly go to where those two lying and whisper at the guy. 

"Can you stand or walk?" she ask. The guy look at her first and nod. "Then stand up, I will be the one to carry your friend, I don't want to cause a fight here," Ashtria said and carry the woman using her shoulders but the guy holds her arms making Ashtria stops and looks at him.  

" No, I still have the strength to carry her," the guy said and carry the woman. Ashtria bring down the unconscious woman and help the guy to stand up. 

Ashtria look in their left when the man shouted suddenly and took the sword that she kick earlier. She took the dagger and slide down to cut the man’s leg which made him cry and fall. Ashtria also quickly ran to other man and just kick his stomach three times that made him kneel down on the ground. 

"Let's go, go, go, go! Run faster!" Ashtria shouted to the guy who's carrying the girl, they need to get out of the palace as fast as they can. Those three men might still have the strength to chase them or maybe someone might knew that Ashtria was here. She already made a ruckus so she really need to get out of the palace as soon as possible if she don't want the new king of Creshtian Palace know about her walking around the Triadrial Palace. 

They were now far away from those three but they’re still at the Triadial Palace' territory. She look at the guy who's sitting and leaning his back on the wall while the girl still sleeping. The guy look at her and speak. 

"Why did you help us?" he ask coldly. Ashtria jaw’s drop after what she heard the guy ask her. He must say thank to her for saving their lives, Ashtria just deeply sighs before speaking. 

"It's because of pity," Ashtria said coldly and just walk away. She must not waste any time to talk with the guy, helping him is enough for her. She is worried that this guy might tell the new king underlings for them to have money. In this place, money is necessary for them to live. 

"Where are you going?" The guy ask which made Ashtria stops and turn around. " Why?" she replied. 

"It's dangerous to go outside," the guy replied while holding the girl’s arms. Ashtria raises her eyebrows looking at the guy. She’s been walking for days to go here at this palace and nothing bad has happened to her. Ashtria still don’t know what was waiting for her outside of the wall, to the huge wall that protecting both the two palaces from monsters outside. 

"How you say so?" Ashtria ask the guy staring at him. 

"There are monsters lurking outside, if you want to get out of here the safest places for you is to swim at the river or walk to go at the dangerous Kingdom in this territory," the guy said making Ashtria even more puzzled.

"How can a dangerous palace is one of the safest route to go out? And what about monsters?" Ashtria ask. 

"You don't know about the outside, haven't you? Well, outside of the huge wall is much more dangerous than the dangerous Xenthral kingdom," the guy speaks once more and carry the girl once again and looks at Ashtria. 

"All people in this place knew about what's on the outside, but you, I think it's your first time here," the guys speaks and continue to walk, Ashtria started following the guy and keep on speaking. 

"I've been walking from the Creshtian kingdom and there wasn't any monsters lurking around!” Ashtria yelled but instead of going out, she decided to follow the guy because for her, it seems the guy knows a lot about the territories.  

"You're Ashtria right? The daughter of the mighty Asherion?" Ashtria suddenly halted after the guy mentioned her name. She didn’t expect that the guy knows her. 

"How can you say that I am Ashtria? The princesses live in the palace and they cannot leave outside of the wall until they're 18 and without bodyguards?" Ashtria speaks making the guy scold her. 

"Shut your mouth if you don't want them to knew that you are here, the Creshtian and Triadial kingdom making a deal that if ever someone saw you they will immediately bring you back," the guy said which made Ashtria quiet.

The guy then carry the girl at his back and speak. " Come on, I have a place where you can hide first. If I let you go outside with just a gun and dagger alone, I am sure you'll be killed.” Ashtria don't know if she can trust this guy but she decided to leave and make a way on her own. The people in this place is not trustworthy. 

Ashtria slowly taking a step to walk away from him but the guy suddenly looked at her and speak. "I'm not going to tell them, punk." Ashtria became annoyed when she heard the guy called her punk. "Alright, if you want to be killed go on. I just want to repay your kindness pft," he added.  

Ashtria thinks for a moment and decided once again to hide even one day to plan her escaping from the Triadrial Kingdom. She followed him where'd he go and now they were walking at the narrow road after that Ashtria saw a small house made of wood.

"No one knows about this place, you can hide here and practice yourself using a sword. There's a shop near at this place, we can go there and buy some," the guy said and enter at the house, Ashtria followed him. 

Both of them suddenly look at where the guy put the girl when they heard her groaned. The girl gets up and look at Ashtria. She blinks her eyes many times and stared at her making Ashtria perplexed. 

"Who is she?" the girl ask pointing at Ashtria and looking at the guy beside her. 

"The woman who save us, do you want to eat?" The guy walk to the kitchen to prepare some food to the girl. The girl was trying to recall what happened and looks at her bruises and then turn her gaze to Ashtria smiling. 

"Thank you for saving us," The girl speaks and kneeled on the ground while her head bowed to pay respect to her savior. She then raises her head and stand up straight. 

"You don't have to thank me," Ashtria said and sit on a chair near at the door. The guy come out at the kitchen while holding a bowl of soup to give it to the girl. 

Ashtria was staring at the two, the girl was smiling happily eating the soup that the guy gave her earlier. The guy tried to help the girl to eat but the girl insisted and wanted to eat on her own. Ashtria felt relieved that even though life is harder than they expected, the two still continuing living and supporting each other. 

The girl ask Ashtria to eat soup as well but Ashtria refuses it while keeps on staring at the girl and then look around of their house. Ashtria then ask the girl if she and the guy were couples but the girl just laugh at her making Ashtria embarrassed after she knew that both of them are siblings. She faked a cough while looking away. Ashtria heard the guy saying tsk. 

“Anyways, I keep on staring at your face and you seems so familiar to me. If you don’t mind, can I know what’s your name?” the girl ask Ashtria. She was silent for a moment and decided to speak her name since the guy from the girl’s side already know her. 

“Ashtria,” she replied to the girl making her shocked and her jaw drops. She couldn’t believe that the daughter of her idol was now in front of her. 

"I didn’t think you’re his daughter! We really love sir Asherion, he's not just a good looking man but he is also a good person! He even gave this house for us secretly and trained my brother in using swords!" The girl shouted because of excitement, making Ashtria surprised. 

"What did you say?” Ashtria ask the girl confusedly.
