Chapter 10

Tears streamed down Zelda’s face. "There’s no need for me to live since you hate me this much."

"Mr. Storm, is everything alright?"

"I just had a little issue with my wife, sorry for the disturbance," Oliver replied.

Logan smiled and said, "There's a party tonight around 8 p.m. at my place; I wonder if Mr. Storm would love to join?"

After giving it some thought, Oliver nodded and said, "I have nothing to do this night, so I'll surely join you."

"That's great, then would you want me to pick you up?" She questioned.

"Then I'll bother you once more."

"Mr. Storm, there's no need to be polite."

After exchanging contacts with Oliver, Logan left.

Oliver, who was now alone in his big villa, wanted to call Zelda to apologize for his rude behavior and also tell her about the money he had gotten, but thinking that she was at fault, he stopped.

"There's no need to tell Zelda or my mother-in-law about my sudden wealth."

At 7:30 p.m., a blue Chevrolet Camaro was parked near the villa. The beautiful lady who alighted was Logan Cohen.

Oliver, who was in a normal T-shirt and a pair of trousers, was taken aback upon seeing Logan.

Today, Logan was wearing a yellowish cocktail dress that was on her knees. Her light blue lipstick couldn't be avoided.

"Hello, Mr. Storm!" Logan smiled as she walked toward Oliver.

"Logan, you're looking very beautiful," Oliver couldn't hide his compliment.

Logan, who heard this, blushed like a little girl and said, "Thank you, Mr. Storm; you don't look bad yourself."

"Mr. Storm, let's go if there's nothing else."

Oliver nodded as he opened the car door and sat inside.

"Woo"

He was amazed by the sweet fragrance that the car emitted.

"I guess Ms. Logan should be pretty rich to afford such an expensive car." He said immediately Logan got into the car.

Logan, who heard this, chuckled and said: "Mr. Storm is overhyping me; my net worth shouldn't exceed 200 million dollars."

"Actually, what people don't know is that in this kind of business of mine, there are a lot of risks associated."

Sometimes you make more money and sometimes you incur heavy losses."

Logan, who had been working hard in the estate job over the past few years, made good fortune. Working hard in the building and selling of villas, her net worth was estimated at around 200 million dollars.

Oliver, who heard this, nodded and said, "Ms. Cohen should be very hardworking then; that's great."

She smiled as she stepped on the accelerator and sped away.

Logan, who had been driving for almost ten minutes, stole a glance at Oliver only to see his head resting on the seat with his eyes closed.

"I wonder why a lady would treat someone as gentle as him so badly."

She was speaking of the conversation Oliver had with Zelda on the phone. She was smart to notice that Oliver wasn't treated fairly by his wife.

After a full 30 minutes of driving, the car arrived at a big villa. The villa was big and could be compared to Oliver's new villa. That was Logan's house.

Oliver, whose eyes were shut throughout, opened his eyes when he felt the car had stopped moving. He was shocked to see a big villa in front of him.

The villa was decorated with lights, which made it look colorful at night like a castle.

"Your house is really big and beautiful."

"Thank you, Mr. Storm; actually, it's just the same as yours, but the kind of lights I use are nice and make the house look colorful at night."

"I can bring some for you some other time."

Oliver nodded as the two walked into the villa.
