Harrington was shocked to hear Oliver's request for a rope, but he couldn't find his voice to utter a single word. Meanwhile, Maria, who appeared lost in her thoughts, hadn't caught Oliver's words. Annoyed, Oliver snapped his fingers at her, jolting her back to reality.

"A rope! Get me a rope, and stop thinking. Am I too handsome that you're lost?" he quipped, a hint of playful arrogance in his tone.

Maria snapped out of her daze, her brows furrowing in confusion. "What do you need a rope for?" she asked, curiosity tinged with caution.

Oliver waved off her questions dismissively. "Stop asking questions and get it for me," he ordered.

Nodding, Maria walked briskly to her car and returned moments later with a long rope, handing it to Oliver. She couldn't help but wonder what he intended to do with it.

Harrington, unable to contain his curiosity, interjected, "What are you going to do?"
