Hearing that Zelda's vital signs were below healthy levels, fear gripped Oliver.

"Doctor what's…."

He only said a few words before he was cut off by a nurse.

"Sir, can you please wait outside so we can attend to the patient?" The nurse said

Hearing this, Oliver nodded as he exited the room, praying for the best.

A defibrillator was handed to Megan.

Defibrillators are devices that send an electric pulse or shock to the heart to restore a normal heartbeat. They are used to prevent or correct an arrhythmia, an uneven heartbeat that is too slow or too fast. If the heart suddenly stops beating, defibrillators can also help it beat again.

Without wasting time, Megan uncovered some area of Zelda's chest and pressed the defibrillator firmly against her.

Even though she used the defibrillator several times, there was still no sign of a heartbeat.

"Hurry up, rush the patient to the ICU immediately." Megan ordered.

The doctors and nurses obeyed as they placed Zelda on the wheeled stretcher and r
