Chapter 376

Observing Zelda, Abigail couldn't help but notice that despite her gaze being fixed on the laptop screen, her thoughts seemed to be far away. Sensing her daughter's preoccupation, Abigail decided to draw her attention.

She snapped her fingers, prompting Zelda to return from her reverie. Zelda looked at her mother, concern in her eyes. "What's wrong, Mom?" she asked.

With a sigh, Zelda confessed, "To be honest, Mom, I really miss my husband. Tomorrow is the opening of my company, and he's not here to witness it." The weight of Oliver's absence was palpable in her voice.

Abigail understood her daughter's longing and offered a reassuring smile. "I know, dear. It's natural to feel that way. But remember, he's proud of you, and he'll be there with you in spirit." She reached out and gently squeezed Zelda's hand, offering her support.

Zelda sighed. "But mom, it's all his money and connections. I'm able to build my company and he won't be here to watch his wife's opening ceremony." She said
