“Are you even a Woodman?” The human High Professor asked in boredom.

“You’re my most fascinating test subject by a mile but you’re even more my most boring test subject ever”.

“Are you mute?”

“How can you be so f*cking quiet?”

“Not even a grunt of pain, no whimpers, just there, like a zombie”.

The High Professor glared at this Woodman even as he kept on doing what was on his mind with the body of his test subject, totally violating it while the so-called test subject barely reacted. “Is it that you don’t feel pain?”

“But that’s not realistic”. He rubbed his chin in thought. “I’ve read a lot of books about the other 4 great civilizations but there were no records of Woodmen being immune to pain”.

“Besides, I’ve worked on other Woodmen before, they all cried out in pain when I was performing my experiments on their body”. He grinned on thinking of it as memories flowed back in his head.
