Chapter Nineteen: Void Magician

The echo of his boots against the surface of the strangely tiled floor of the lab section of the school was so eerie it made him want to tiptoe. He checked his card tag again to confirm the number on it.

"036..." he repeated in his head.

He was walking as fast as he could, counting the number on the laboratory doors. "030... 031... 033..."

"Okay slow down ass!" Magus called, panting behind him. He dropped the two kegs of water in his hands.

He turned back to him, staring him down with his eyes. "You are lucky, we are here."

He inserted the key attached to his card tag into the keyhole and turned, the door clicked open and he pushed it in. Magus lifted the two kegs inside, half dragging - half lifting and cursing the world for creating him with hands. Coral enjoyed this moment more than he admitted to himself, his lips curled up in a wicked grin.

He entered the laboratory and found it quite adequate, it had everything he needed, from glass tubes to a big square pit. The equipmen
