EPISODE SEVENTY EIGHT **(EARTH, BASE ZERO)** Waking up from sleep early in the morning, dizzy and still tired for obvious reasons of overworking and repelling soulless enemy soldiers that have guns which can vaporize a tank. It has been two months since the battle between the twin towers of hell and the federation has started, Base Zero is no longer the small secluded island it was before. After the incident and the reveal of the genetic information of the aliens being similar to that of humans, the perception of the world…….. sorry, what is left of the world has changed completely on the invasion. A majority of the federation council voted for talks of peace and negotiation for coexistence while the president and a few persons such as Carter argued that it will be bad to start showing the enemy that humanity is afraid of it from the onset. This created a bad situation that forced the president and the military heads to put the council temporarily on hold till the end of the war in
The supersonic phantom cruiser ships carrying the emerald ghosts squad and the rest of the federation soldiers arrived around the city a few miles from where Kana and Elena have jumped out to enter the city from behind. The ships heaved their engines and begin to land one after another, staying briefly for the soldiers to unload themselves before taking into the clouds to remain hidden in the meantime until the enemy ships make their moves or try to get reinforcement. Rhoda, Khan and Jamie each got out of the ship, followed by the squads that are now under their command, together with the rest of the emerald ghosts and the rest of the federation army. They breached the barrier and infiltrated the town, however there was no one to be seen currently, from the far distance towards the center of the town they can see a red beam of light that has been set to constantly shine upwards into the clouds and a buzzing noise coming from it. They divided into three groups and approached it from
**(A FEW HOURS AGO: KANA’S POV)**I was sure that I was not only flying at forty miles an hour, but I am sure that I grabbed the boy from the beam platform that he was on, but all of sudden my mini boosters refuse to produce any kind of thrust. Normally this will mean that I will fall to my death or end up in the intensive care unit if I was very high up in the sky; unless use my glider or open my parachute. But I was floating upwards instead. After a few minutes of nauseating gravity reversal I passed out still holding the boy in my hands, and the next thing I know, I am in this place filled with civilians.Kana turned to her side and saw that the boy and his father are hugging each other by her side and for some reason, it felt like whatever massive place they are in, is currently moving. She stood up and checked herself to ensure she did not have any injury and walked around the overly massive space she and over seven hundred people are in. she checked around and after a few minute
Elena followed Carter to his laboratory right after, upon arrival she saw that the shape and arrangement of the laboratory has been changed completely. Where Astra’s stuff were, has been changed completely to into other laboratory functions. But one thing has not changed at all and that is the large central space where the black ring that accidentally transported Astra after exploding is, has been preserved, Carter has secretly continued the research into the kind of technology that was used to form the ring. But from what Elena could see, she realized that he must not have made any much progress on the research since all she can see are a bunch of prototype smaller versions of the ring structure that have on them stickers that said “Failed!”As Carter walked to the other side of the laboratory, Elena walked to the center to check out what the covered object in the center of the defective prototypes were. She walked close to it and was about to pull the curtain used to cover it off wh
From all directions surrounding them, large prehistoric looking crocodiles started jumping out of the mud and attacking them, Adriel’s helion shield could not do so much in blocking the strong bite force of the Nile beasts.Astra has engaged one of the beasts, it jumped out of the mud and grabbed her arm and is currently trying to drag her under the muddy floor of the swamp, she is trying her absolute best to stay above and not get dragged down. The beast started one of the most dangerous characteristic attack patterns of its smaller earth counterparts and Astra recognized it immediately.“This is dangerous, if it starts rolling around, I will have to roll along with it or risk my arm being torn out of my body in a painful and gruesome manner. But if I roll with it, I will lose my footing and get dragged into the mud. That will be a death sentence for me. Since I can’t have that, I guess it is time to try something new.” She thought and activated her aether heart. For a few seconds, s
After walking for some hours following the directions of the digital navigation that Adriel has been using all the way from the empire’s walls, they finally arrive at the foot of a large pyramidal structure that is made entirely of a pitch black material that Astra could not recognize at all.The pyramid is so massive that looking at it, Astra realized it will fit at least three of the Giza historical pyramids back on earth and still have room for more, yet all of it is pitch black. It suddenly strike her how she got to Centauri, the ring! It was made of pitch black material just like this one. But those dreams that I was having, the computers and spaceships that they were inside were all made of the same material. The dimensional ring too.“What is this thing?” She said, pointing at the enormous pyramid.“That my dear is Zegna’s temple. The most sacred place in all of this god-forsaken planet we call our home.” Dula said.“Not the temple, that part is obvious I think anyone will be a
As soon as they entered the room, the large and heavy doors swung and closed themselves in a loud thump that made both of them to turn back. The light from the room has blinded them completely, making it impossible for neither Astra nor Adriel to see anything from inside of the room. After about a minute of absolute silence and blinding light that although Astra has closed her eyes to, shoe could still feel it burning into her eyes.“O you children of man, seat and I shall give you the knowledge you need to take the trial of the goddess of the sun, the priestess of the night and the queen of the city of Babylon.” A deep masculine voice that reverberates around the place in a down tone echo said, and all of a sudden, Astra felt her legs bending on their own and herself sitting on the floor. The light in the place suddenly dimmed down and as Astra squints and opens her eyes slowly, she could see prince Adriel sitting next to her on the opposite side. Each of them has a box in their fron
Astra raised her head upwards to see where the shining light attack came from and from the clouds descended a woman ling ridiculously long hair, her wings were larger and more beautiful that the rest of them, on her head, a golden tiara that makes her majestic rest. Decorated around it are listening gems that immediately caught Astra’s attention. On her hand is a bow made almost completely of light, she was drawing an arrow of light in it that is currently accumulating light and shining even brighter. She aimed and fired the second shot at the vile creatures that are swarming below. As the arrow leaves the bow, turning into a straight large beam of light heading towards the ground at an incredible speed, but as it got out of the clouds, it suddenly shattered into tens of little sparks that fall to the ground and exploded upon impact. The sound of a horn being blown suddenly caught Astra’s attention, making her look to her side to see who was blowing it among her fellow winged ladies a
