After The War
Returning to the cave, William found the trio in the same position. He then took some wood from his dimensional bag and tied them together. Finally, after placing all four on this primitive stretcher, he carried it with both hands and left the cave. Lying next to the Cabal was disgusting to Cora, but she needed some rest before she could move.

William soon passed the apprentices collecting the dead and reached the Blood and Sword Tower campsite. Here he let the trio rest and waited until they were able to walk. The trio did not talk until they had recovered, and William accompanied them when they decided they could come to their senses and walk. No one even asked why he was in that state, even though the Cabal was still tied up beside them.

The journey took a little longer, of course, as William's teammates were still tired. During this time, William asked them what had happened.
