Lonely Tower

After another five hundred meters of walking along the bridge, William came to the gate of the tower. This tower, which looked small from afar, was actually gigantic, giving the appearance that it had all the requirements to be a mage tower. Even though William didn't know what it took to call a mage tower a 'mage tower', he could see that it was nothing short of a mage tower.

When he went around the tower, he saw that it was at least two hundred meters in diameter. It was a sign of tremendous manual labour. Most of its windows were floor-to-ceiling, made in the French style. The glass used, although occultly transparent, did not reveal anything inside. All he could do was get in through the front door. When he came to the door and looked up, he saw a sign with faded gold letters. It was very important to name things in this world. Most buildings had a name of their own. This tower also followed this tradition.
