After the two had left, William closed the door and sat down on the seat from before. He took a deep, calming breath and tried to put all the worries out of his mind. He was confident that he could make the weapon.

No, it wasn't the weapon that mattered. What mattered was what spell William would choose.

'Damn... it's so hard to decide!' For someone who considered himself a lover of magic, the decision was not easy.

He still remembered how magnificent the mages were in the movies he had seen in his previous world, but he did not want to use only the fireball spell like them.

If he wanted to create his own spell, it would be impossible. Creating a spell as an apprentice, no matter how skilled he was, was literally against the rules of the world.
