Jonathan and Helen laughed heartily as Ellen joked said that.

"Just enjoy yourselves, you two," Jonathan said.

"We're not intruding, just curious to know more about him," Helen added.

James felt relieved that Ellen's parents were welcoming. He had been worried they wouldn't approve of him, but it seemed he was wrong.

"I'm sure we'll have more time to chat later," Mrs. Helen said with a smile. "Say hi to Ryan Wane for me."

"Sure thing, Mom. Dad, see you later," Ellen said, leading James towards the door.

Once outside, they climbed into James' car.

"Ready?" he asked Ellen.

"Yeah," she replied.

James started the car, and the engine roared to life.

They drove for about 20 minutes until they got to the location of the restaurant.

The restaurant was called City Lights Bistro. It bustled with activity as they entered.

The sounds of lively chatter and laughter filled the air, accompanied by soft music emanating from speakers placed throughout the space.
