The next day, just as Williams and Mr. Sterling had planned, Williams decided to investigate Peter, the juror that Barrister Harris Drums had mentioned before he was killed.

He disguised himself in a plain suit and glasses. He went to the court early in the morning, trying to blend in with the crowd. He looked like any other person attending the trial, but his eyes were sharp, scanning the room for Peter.

Just as he arrived at the courthouse, Williams was greeted by a security guard standing near the entrance. The guard, a burly man with a stern face, eyed him with suspicion.

Williams approached with a casual smile. "Good morning. I'm looking for a Mr. Peter, one of the jurors. Could you point him out to me?"
