James could see the figures of Gomer Frenté and his gang from the car as he drove towards them.They were about twenty men in number all armed with different dangerous weapons.He also saw a woman and a young girl with their eyes covered whom he quickly identified as Mary and Claire. “I'm James Wane!” James panicked with both hands raised.”“Haha, You're really funny but everyone knows that that's not true. James and Gomer faced each other in the vast, empty desert.The sun was high in the sky now and burning brightly above them.James's eyes were focused and his body tense and ready for the fight. He knew Gomer was way bigger than he was but that didn't deter him because he was faster than Gomer.Gomer stood opposite him, a smirk on his face. He was underestimating James.Without warning, Gomer lunged at James, aiming a punch at his face. James dodged to the side and the blow missed him by just inches.He countered with a swift kick aimed at Gomer's side. James grunted in pain but managed to stay on his feet.He clenched his fists and refused to show weakness.“Ha! Eric was noticing an unusual behavior from Agent Tom ever since he took charge of the operation.And when a phone rang on the table where everyone submitted their phones, he knew it was Agent Tom's phone.“Agent, Tom, whose phone is ringing?” Eric asked Tom.“It's mine and I have to pick it up.” Agent Tom said when he took the phone from the table and saw the caller ID.“No you don't. James could see the fast approaching feet of Gomer Frenté's men. The car had somersaulted but somehow he managed to have a good spot and looked out the window upside down. Gregor was not in a position to move himself, plus the agonizing pain he is experiencing on his right leg. Claire was whimpering. “Hold still Claire.” Mary said. “Mary! Claire! Anybody hurt?” James asked from the front seat. “No…no, the seat belt held us.” Mary said. “Alright try unblocking yourself and get out of the car and run as fast as you can.” “Ok…” “Are you alright, Gregor?” James turned around and asked. “Yeah! Y..ah I'm fine.” He muttered, Just hold them off. Eric was still running back when he spotted his wife and daughter running towards him.Without a second thought, he rushed over to them and pulled them both into a tight hug."Mary, Claire, are you hurt? Eric's phone buzzed with an incoming call. It was Agent Jon. "Eric, we've managed to capture the rest of Gomer's men," he said."That's great news, Jon! Where are they now?" Eric asked eagerly as he left the ward where Gregor was."We've taken them to the ESU barracks for questioning," Jon replied confidently."Good job. I'll be there soon to oversee the interrogation," Eric said, and ended the call, a wave of relief washed over him.Finally, they had managed to put an end to Gomer Frenté's reign of terror. It was a victory for justice, and Eric couldn't wait to see the rest of Gomer's men brought to justice as well.By this time, Ryan Wane had arrived at the hospital when he got the news.He had gone in to see Gregor and was coming out of the ward when he spotted Eric on call.He approached Eric, and asked, "What happened?"Eric quickly briefed him on the situation and told him that Gomer's men had been captured by the ESU.Ryan breathed a sigh of relief, "I'm glad to hear that," Rya
