As they drove through the city, the news of the fire at Carter Comb was broadcast on the radio. The report mentioned that Liam Carter, the CEO, had narrowly escaped assassination and was badly injured and bruised at the hands of four men who had disguised themselves as firefighters. Hearing this, James heaved a sigh of relief.

The taxi driver, an older man with a gruff voice, shook his head. "It's a damn shame what's happening in this city. People can't even go to work without worrying about some maniacs setting buildings on fire."

James nodded, engaging the man in conversation. "Yeah, it's terrible. Can't believe something like that happened at Carter Comb. What do you think about it?"
