CHAPTER 232

That night, Mr. Benjamin couldn’t come to terms with sleep. He was restless, his mind racing through several conflicting thoughts. He was still waiting for a response from the police, but nothing had been found.

He paused back and forth in his study room with one of his hands clasped behind his back and the other hand he used to hold the wine glass.

“Who could have done this to my son? Why will he always have to face difficulties.” He questioned inwardly.

He sipped from his wine glass, consuming the liquid content slowly. He perceived a subtle knock on the door and turned his gaze to deduce who it was.

When the door creaked open, Robert ambled inside with a saddened demeanor. He tilted his head while standing before Mr. Benjamin.

“What is it? Did you find anything?” He questioned with his face etched with worries.

Robert sighed softly, as he nodded negatively. “No, Master. We were unable to get anything,” he responded.
